The location is good and the room is reasonably sized but the design of the room is not to my liking. The toilet is completely separated from the rest of the washroom which has happened before but the toilet room does not have a hand basin to wash your hands and the two areas are inconveniently located so it could be a problem stumbling at night.
The room was clean when we checked in but our room was cleaned the next day except for the washroom for some reason. Reported to front desk but no explanation really.
Saw a fan in the closet so the hotel may not have A/C whinch happens in hotels in Europe sometimes. Check that if you are coming in the summer.

前台check in，由於早上到的，本來以為還不能check in，沒想到給了房間，還挺好的。不過後麪發生的事情有點影響好評，給的房卡打不開，重新回到前台設定，弄好了回房間，門是打開了，結果不是我訂的房型。訂了大床和沙發床的房間，給了我一間衹有大床房。於是又回到前台…前台説是攜程和他們酒店系統不一樣，所以他們無法確定我訂了有沙發床的房間。再給他們看確認信，説幫我找經理。讓我們現在的房間先用着。於是我們出去玩，準備晚點再回來。到了晚上，還是沒有房間，經理又要我重新出示確認信。然後説衞生還在打掃中，預計一個多小時給我房間，會打電話到現在的房間。結果一個多小時，終於給了要的房間。哈哈哈，也是蠻折騰。

Buen personal de servicio y buena relación calidad-precio, ya que el hotel cuenta con instalaciones completas como baño de vapor, sauna, piscina cubierta e incluso gimnasio. Eso hace que nuestra estancia sea fructífera. Aunque la ubicación está un poco lejos del centro de la ciudad, es fácil llegar en autobús y tranvía a la ciudad.

Comparado con los hoteles de los alrededores, este hotel tiene definitivamente una excelente relación calidad-precio. Excepto por la falta de zapatillas, todos los demás artículos de tocador de la habitación están completos. La ubicación también es muy buena. Por la noche, es muy conveniente contemplar la puesta de sol en la montaña Calton junto a ella.

This is not a 5 star hotel! I have to be honest, I have stayed in many 5 star hotels across Asia and to come to Scotland I had hoped for better. I booked this hotel for two nights with my daughter who is in her 20’s.
Check in was swift and the twin room we were allocated was basic and not very big. Our room overlooked the Usher Hall and Castle.
Breakfast the first morning was very disappointing. There is no buffet breakfast, only al a carte. You were to choose a starter eg. Porridge, overnight oats and then a main: full cooked breakfast, pancakes with bacon. However, all the food came together, which meant that if we’d eaten the yogurt first, the main courses would have been cold. I complained to two different servers and neither of them offered so much as an apology.
To use the One Spa, you have to have booked a spa room or pay extra…definitely not worth it. This should be included for all rooms.
Don’t book this hotel, there are many better hotels in Edinburgh for the same if not less money.

Google Maps brought us to wrong place. Be careful! Hotel is good location. Much bigger than what it looks from outside.
Parking is limited and requires extra payment. We could not parked onsite and was directed to park at another nearby APEX hotel.

El servicio del hotel excelente muy atentos en mejorar la estancia de sus huéspedes ayudando en cada momento, el servicio de Buffet me parece fantástico, sobre todo la carta con todo tipo de platos preparados al momento, sin coste alguno, la ubicación es de lo mejor ya que no necesitas coger transporte para nada, buenas instalaciones, varias chicas Españolas trabajando en el, aunque hacer referencia a Inma es un encanto de chica. Y por último hacer referencia a todos los lugares de interés a visitar a 5min andando.

Un hotel muy formal y el personal es amable.
Es fácil llegar al hotel en autobús.
Aunque está lejos de la ciudad, está cerca del aeropuerto y es un lugar tranquilo para quedarse.
Me encanta la habitación, es grande y cómoda. Creo que la cama es grande y pueden dormir 4 chicas. Es muy grande.

UUsuario invitadoMe encantó mi estancia. Parecía más un apartamento que un hotel. Pero la paga incluía desayuno y bebidas que podías comprar. También me gustó que estaba lo suficientemente cerca como para caminar a todos los lugares de interés, pero lo suficientemente lejos como para estar fuera de las multitudes. La persona que nos recibió, creo que se llamaba VJ, fue amable y servicial. La habitación estaba limpia, la alcachofa de la ducha era genial y las toallas eran lujosas. ¿Qué más puedo pedir?

We walked from Waverly to hotel with 3 huge luggages, it is not far but it is hilly so choose the path that does not involve stairs. Check-in and out is VERY efficient, just mention your name and they will immediately escort u to your apartment. Saw previous reviews saying receptionist is not friendly, but honestly I think they are being efficient and that is just what I needed after a 20-hour journey. I booked the open plan 1-bedroom apartment for us 2 adults and 2 kids. Room is at ground floor with the entrance from outside walkway directly to the living room. This means people walking outside your room will be able to see you, but there are curtains and blinds to block those views. The bedroom does not have doors though, just an entrance from hallway. The apartment is very homey and comfortable to us, we cooked almost every meal, being fully equipped. It has dining table comfortable for 4, and efficient layout. Bathroom is perfect size with sufficient hot water. Heater is working very well. Location is very close to famous victoria street, and near the famous stairs filmed in “One Day”. Used the laundry service and is good. Sainsbury local nearby with 4 mins walk. Overall satisfied and highly recommend.

Traveling with a baby, they already had the cot in the room before we had arrived which was great. The staff were super kind and attentive at concierge and reception. Breakfast had a good selection if you a hot Scottish breakfast. Only downside was the parking which was a 5 min drive away ( we weren’t packing light!) Overall, solid experience

AAsifA pleasant stay. Hotel room clean and tidy as was reception and dining. Staff were friendly though housekeeping was slow and had not cleaned my room when I was out for the day, so I returned to an unmade room. Because I’d travelled the night before, after a morning and early afternoon out, I wanted daytime rest and housekeeping walked in on me when I was taking a short nap late afternoon. Said they’d be back in an hour but when they came in I was showering so the room didn’t get made up as they were now going off duty. Offered to replenish my coffee, so at least made a gesture.
Otherwise a pleasant stay. Nicely located in the heart of the city just minutes away from local attractions, the ferris wheel and the train station.

SsrchmzLa ubicación del hotel es fantástica, increíblemente cerca del casco antiguo y de los lugares de interés histórico.
Todo está a poca distancia a pie, por lo que no es necesario utilizar el transporte público, lo que es una gran ventaja.
La limpieza y las comodidades (como té, café y agua filtrada) fueron suficientes para una estancia cómoda.
Apreciamos la rapidez con la que abordaron nuestra nota sobre la limpieza y resolvieron el problema rápidamente.
Sin embargo, no hay aparcamiento en el establecimiento, lo que puede suponer costes adicionales para quienes viajan en coche.
Incluso con el bono de descuento que ofrecen, el aparcamiento en la zona sigue siendo caro, como suele ser habitual en los centros urbanos.

The hotel goes under the renovation and there were only 2 lifts with queues and they are also used by the staff too
We had a room for 3 people and had all set up for two people only, the room was dirty with hair in the shower and the ceiling.
When I took the shower the pipe was blocked and the water started to leak to the bathroom… yes they sorted the problem quite quickly but still was not great experience
There were no slippers and bathrobes. I asked for x3 slippers and they brought only one pair. I asked again and they brought only one pair again. On the third time they brought two pairs…. When I asked for 3!!! And still no bathrobes. We asked for additional blanket and it was in a random location after the room was cleaned.
The room was cleaned badly on the next day we stayed. My pajamas was thrown elsewhere and I found it on the table, the towels we put on the floor to be replaced were fold dirty on the shelves… the blanket was in a random location and the cleaner did not pay any attention at all left the room dirty. Very disrespectful
I felt that I had to beg for the things we are supposed to get in this kind of hotels. Shocking!!!
Yes they compensated with a complimentary breakfast which was good but still the service was bad. They sent the cleaner and by the time she came we were already sleeping. And she did not speak any English … very disappointed

La habitación del hotel es pequeña y limpia, y los camareros son amables. Es necesario hacer una reserva con antelación para comer en el restaurante. Puedes pedir directamente en el bar sin hacer reserva. Es bueno beber cerveza mientras disfrutas de la hermosa escenario.

BBenpaodejingziLa ubicación está un poco alejada de la estación de tren, se tarda más de diez minutos en caminar y es igual que la ubicación central, pero es segura y tranquila, tienes que pasar tu tarjeta para subir las escaleras. un poco pequeña, pero la habitación está bien. El inodoro, el baño y el lavabo están separados en tres áreas separadas, y es bastante inteligente. Las luces de la casa se apagarán automáticamente si olvidas apagarlas después de quedarte dormido. y se enciende automáticamente al levantarte, los únicos dos problemas son que no hay hervidor eléctrico y el segundo es que el pasillo huele demasiado a sebo.
