We enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return. Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet. Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy. Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea. Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent. Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights. Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

El dueño recomienda restaurantes y cafeterías locales, te dice qué no comprar y dónde comprar lo que sí, e incluso te guía personalmente cuando está disponible. Una noche, incluso nos invitó a cenar (aunque luego le devolví el dinero) y me llevó a un bar de música folclórica local a las 23:00 (le ofrecí una bebida gratis). En general, alojarse en este B&B es increíblemente sencillo. Ni siquiera necesitas planificar un viaje; simplemente comenta tus ideas con el dueño y te dará sugerencias. Este B&B es una opción ideal si visitas Lijiang. Planeo quedarme un mes la próxima vez. Muy recomendable.

Este edificio te permite experimentar plenamente la atmósfera de Lijiang. Una de las mayores ventajas de este lugar es la amabilidad del personal. Aunque no era posible comunicarse en inglés, pudimos comunicarnos sin problemas a través de WeChat. Incluso nos ayudaron a empacar pan, leche y fruta antes de nuestra excursión matutina y nos ayudaron a pedir comida a domicilio. Siempre que teníamos preguntas sobre Lijiang, las respondían rápidamente por WeChat. El desayuno también estaba delicioso. Sin embargo, incluso para estos huéspedes, si les asignan una habitación en una planta baja y salen por la puerta contigua del casco antiguo de Lijiang para tomar un taxi hacia el sur, donde hay mucho que ver, no debería haber problema. Dejando de lado estos inconvenientes, este alojamiento merece una alta puntuación por su personal amable, su precio razonable, su delicioso desayuno y, sobre todo, por las vistas nocturnas. Además, si vienen, no dejen de probar las naranjas del vestíbulo. Fueron las mejores naranjas que he probado en mi vida.

Estabamos en Lijiang por unos días y esta era nuestra estadía por toda la duración, directamente en el centro de Oldtown en la ubicación perfecta. This was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel et à shuhe.Le personnel est agréable. Nous tenons à remercier l'ensemble du personnel en particulier la dame qui est venue nous aider pour nos bagages . Il était tard. Nous regrettons de ne pouvoir rester plus longtemps. Merci pour le thé de l'après midi c'était beau et bon ai si que pour la soupe du soir. Quelques remarques cependant: les photos du petit déjeuner ne reflètent en rien la réalité. Il n'y avait ni fruits , ni toasts et le choix était très limité et inchangé pendant les trois jours passés. Nous n'avons donc pas pu déjeuner correctement. Pour ma part, un thé, et des morceaux de patate douce. Mon mari, des oeufs durs et un café J'ai fait remarquer la différence entre les photos du déjeuner sur le site et le vrai déjeuner. Le personnel a fait un effort et nous a apporté des gâteaux traditionnels. Merci. J'aurais espéré quelques fruits , que nous avons fini par acheter nous mêmes et du pain . Une autre remarque concernant la chambre qui était très agréable, décorée avec goût, avec un linge de lit parfaitement propre et un lit douillet. Il y a quelques traces de moisissures dans les pièces d'eau. C'est vraiment dommage. Il faudrait mettre de la faïence peut être. Autre remarque , nous aurions aimé avoir la possibilité d'utiliser une douchette dans les toilettes. Ces remarques se veulent constructives et non pas offensives. Ceci afin de permettre à l'hôtel de s'améliorer. Nous espérons que ce sera le cas pour notre prochain séjour. Merci. Bonne continuation😊.

El anfitrión fue súper atento. Me llamó antes de que saliera para Lijiang para preguntar mi hora de llegada. Cuando el taxi llegó cerca del B&B, salió a ayudarme con el equipaje. Las calles del casco antiguo están empedradas, y el anfitrión cargó con mi maleta todo el camino sin dejarla en el suelo. ¡Tiene una fuerza increíble, jajajaja! Cuando llegué al B&B, me ofreció té y pastel de flor. El ambiente es excelente. Limpio y tranquilo. Las instalaciones son completas, y desde la ventana se puede ver la puesta de sol dorada sobre las montañas del casco antiguo. Está muy cerca del casco antiguo, ¡súper conveniente! ¡Me encantó la estancia! La próxima vez, sin duda, volveré. 😋😋

Vi algunas fotos en Xiaohongshu donde se veía el pico nevado desde el vestíbulo del hotel, pero quizás debido a la temporada de lluvias, no pudimos verlo. El hotel tiene un estilo arquitectónico antiguo, bien mantenido, y las habitaciones son amplias y limpias. El desayuno buffet ofrecía una buena variedad. Más tarde, también probamos una olla caliente de carne de yak en el hotel, que estaba deliciosa. Lo que más me impresionó fue el servicio, especialmente Kim. The best hotel we stayed at during our entire trip to Yunnan. We got a free upgrade from the owner, and the benefits that come with the room were aplenty (afternoon tea, great breakfast set, a tea-making session etc). The owner also helps us buy a nice, affordable day tour to Dali, which we enjoyed tremendously. The hotel itself is new and spacious, and our room has the view of a peaceful small river. The surrounding area is serene and quiet, with a handful of quaint cafes, restaurants and bars. It feels like a complete contrast of the other commercial side of Lijiang. Overall, we loved the stay. Will definitely recommend this our friends.

La habitación era dúplex, y desde la ventana del segundo piso pudimos fotografiar la Montaña Nevada del Dragón de Jade. El casco antiguo estaba justo al lado, lo que facilitaba mucho comer y comprar.
