It has been a great 5 days and 4 nights in Lijiang. My stay could not have been more than memorable if not for this place. It was the best ever decision made. First of all, the location is the most important reason as I wanted to stay inside the old town. Just within a few minutes walk, I was already at the main square of the old town and walking distance to both North gate and South gate was also less than 10 minutes walk. There were many food, retail options and convenience stores everywhere. The hotel provided a pick up and transfer service which made it even better as one did not have to carry your own bags to the hotel. The communication was very smooth, prompt and clear. Despite the proximity of the hotel with the main old town square, it is surprisingly a very quiet and peaceful abode. Secondly, the hotel itself is very beautiful with a mixture of modern and traditional design. One can also see a beautiful panoramic view from the second floor. The room has new and high quality furniture. What i also appreciated was the efficiency, room service done promptly and everything was replenished well. The common area where breakfast service is served is spacious and comfortable with plenty of sitting area. There was also an afternoon tea daily served either at your room or at the common lounge area, with a variety of drinks to choose from. You must also try the coffee too! One cup is always not enough as it's that tasty. There is also a room to host Chinese tea drinking if one is keen to experience local pu er tea! Finally, the hospitality is one of the best I've ever experienced in China. The hotel manager, Ms Li is very genuine, friendly, kind, resourceful and hospitable. She is always checking on my welfare and ensuring that my stay is nothing less than comfortable. She is able to provide recommendations and suggestions on what can be done in Lijiang, saving one a lot of time and effort. If you are willing, she could also assist with booking. Together with her team, Xiao Long and Xiao Ping, all of them meticulously took care of me with their best ability. If you want a good relaxing trip, please choose this hotel, you will never regret it! Thank you once again for making my stay in Lijiang a memorable experience. Looking forward to coming back again.

Nos alojamos en este patio de una casa de huéspedes que conserva el estilo antiguo de las casas Naxi: tejas azules sobre tejas azules, ventanas de madera que reflejan las montañas lejanas y el suave tintineo de las campanillas de viento en los aleros, ligero como un sueño. Por la tarde, sacaba una silla de mimbre al patio, tomaba el sol y pelaba naranjas, viendo cómo las nubes flotaban lentamente desde las cumbres hasta los tejados. Incluso el tiempo se ralentizaba, convirtiéndose en poesía. Por la noche, me dormía arrullado por el viento de la montaña, y mis sueños se llenaban del susurro de los pinos y las estrellas. Al levantarme por la mañana y abrir la ventana, el aire fresco de la montaña nevada se mezclaba con la niebla matutina, y hasta la respiración se sentía pura. Aquí no hay bullicio, solo montañas, nubes, un patio antiguo y días que fluyen lentamente, invitándote a vivir el tiempo de forma tranquila, como un poema. ¡Un buen viaje! Lo recomiendo.

We have stayed in many places all over the world, and this accommodation ranks among the very best we have ever experienced. Before we even arrived, the team had already contacted us and seamlessly arranged our airport transfer and pickup to the accommodation, which immediately set the tone for an exceptional stay. Accommodation: The accommodation itself exceeds a 5-star hotel standard. From the moment you enter the room, it is clear that every element has been carefully considered. The design, attention to detail, and overall comfort reflect the work of a top-tier designer. As designers ourselves, we truly appreciated the thoughtful colour schemes, lighting choices, and smart conveniences throughout the space. Features such as the fully automatic toilet, comfortable shower, and stylish humidifier added to the sense of luxury and refinement. It is this meticulous attention to detail that truly sets this accommodation apart from others. Location: Located in Yuhu Village, a charming Naxi village, the setting is both authentic and peaceful. The village atmosphere, friendly locals, and lovely coffee shops and bakeries make it a joy to explore. A particular highlight is the close-up view of Yulong Snow Mountain, which adds a breathtaking natural backdrop to the entire experience. Customer Service & Staff: The customer service was outstanding. We received thoughtful, personalised tips and guidance to make our stay in Lijiang as enjoyable as possible—far from generic recommendations, the suggestions were clearly tailored to our personal interests and needs. The staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, and generous, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. It is evident that they love what they do, and that passion translates into an atmosphere where guests truly feel valued. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. We were deeply touched by the manager’s generosity and thoughtful parting gifts. Best stay in Yunnan, they deserve a 10.0 rating!!! The owner has a very good taste, the rooms and common area are both well designed. Just renovated 2 years ago. None of the corners is not instagrammable. The yulong view is perfect, you can see the view from the room and common area. Never forget to mention about their service. I didn’t get the names of the receptionists (a guy and a lady), both are really friendly and helpful, love their smiles. They provide free rides to shuhe and dayan guzhen

Ubicación y vibe: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ El hotel está muy bien situado, a unos minutos a pie de la ciudad antigua de Lijiang y a tres minutos a pie de la piscina de Black Dragon. Subrayaciones: Excelente comida y servicio: El té de la tarde y la sopa de buena noche son deliciosos y cambian diariamente. Estado personalizado: Está invitado a un grupo WeChat para anuncios sobre actividades y consultas opcionales. Grandes instalaciones: Disfruta de la actualización de la habitación libre, el suministro de oxígeno complimentario (disponible a petición) y el gel de ducha de alta calidad y el champú en la habitación limpia y bien equipada. This is a place that only exists in dreams. Snow mountains, huge green grasslands and adorable animals everywhere -the scenery was truly unforgettable. I fell in love with this place the moment I arrived. For people who are always busy and stressed with daily life, I highly recommend staying here. It is the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe and feel peaceful again. The whole environment is calm, quiet and very healing. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is also very convenient, very near to Baisha Ancient Town and they even provide free shuttle service. One of my favourite stays in Yunnan and I would love to come back again someday.

También nos ayudó a llevar nuestro equipaje al alojamiento, ya que no se puede acceder en coche. Al estar en la ciudad antigua, solo pudimos ir andando. De regreso, nos llevaron el equipaje al punto de recogida del coche. Nos brindaron un servicio excelente. Si vuelvo a Lijiang, sin duda me alojaré aquí.

I appreciated the convenient location and service, but the misleading tour arrangements, unexpected extra charges, and poor coordination made my overall stay frustrating and disappointing. Location: The hotel is in the southern part of the Old Town, which has fewer crowds than other areas. It’s quieter, still beautiful, and easily accessible. Service: The hotel offers one complimentary train/airport pickup if arranged in advance (for 3 night stay). The staff helped carry my luggage from the South Gate (cars can’t enter the Old Town) and provided welcome fruit upon request. Breakfast was as described, though the noodles were undercooked. The staff were responsive and helped me book tickets, including a trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain—but this is where things went wrong. Initially, the hotel staff quoted me a reasonable price that matched my research and said the schedule was flexible, I could spend as much time as I like. When I went to book, they suddenly told me I needed to pay about 200 RMB more because I was a foreigner—something I knew wasn’t true from my experience in other cities. They also said lunch was mandatory. I was short on time and wanted convenience, so I accepted the extra charges. Although I was told that jackets, oxygen bottles, and water would be provided, the driver took me and other Chinese tourists to a store to buy additional oxygen and energy drinks at four times the normal price. There I was told the “free” oxygen bottle was too small—information the hotel hadn’t mentioned. I bought one just in case but never needed it. I booked a sunrise tour with a 5 a.m. pickup, but we didn’t actually see sunrise at the mountain—partly due to weather, partly because the schedule wasn’t designed for it. The driver took me to Blue Moon Lake first, then the cable car, and the Impression of Lijiang show last. He kept saying I was short on time, so I needed to buy an additional ticket for battery car to get around and rushed through Blue Moon Lake without knowing how long the walk should take, only to end up waiting an hour at the cable car. After the show, we were taken to lunch, which had no menu—just a very basic hot pot shared with random strangers seated at the same table. The driver texted me to hurry up because other passengers were waiting and even told me that they didn’t pay for lunch because they knew it wasn’t good. That upset me even more. Overall, I felt rushed, overcharged, and misled, and the whole experience made the trip far less enjoyable. Amenities: The amenities were as described, but there was no daily housekeeping or towel replacement.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at 望山雪 Hotel. The view from our balcony was absolutely amazing — exactly as shown in the listing photos, if not even better in person. Waking up to that scenery every day was such a highlight of the trip. The room itself was very impressive as well. The features and amenities felt modern, advanced, and thoughtfully designed, making our stay extremely comfortable and convenient. What truly made this stay special, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was sincere, warm, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for both beautiful views and heartfelt service.
