We arrived at the hotel around 8 am and couldn't check in yet, but a staff member named Jimmy was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We opted to use the spa for a shower and onsen bath, costing 10,000 won per person. After that, we were able to check in before noon, which was earlier than scheduled. Overall, the check-in process was excellent. On the first night, we left the room around noon and asked housekeeping to clean it as usual. When we returned late at night, the bathroom was tidy, but the bed hadn't been made – we don't know why. On the second night,we returned at23.00 there was only one towel in the bathroom. On the third night, we requested four bottles of water, leaving a note on the table before leaving, but only received two. The fourth and fifth nights were normal. We spoke with reception, and they said the housekeeping staff were overloaded and losing focus, and it wasn't just our room; several rooms were experiencing the same issue. We told them that a hotel of this caliber shouldn't be like this, but we didn't receive any compensation from the hotel. Overall, the hotel is clean, new, convenient, close to the subway, and has a CU supermarket and a delicious bakery downstairs. The only thing we'd like to see improved is the service. We stayed for five nights in total.

I stayed here for one night in the Ocean Classic Double room. The location is excellent—it’s only a 3-minute walk to the metro station and perfectly situated between Haeundae and Gwangalli. The view is stunning; you can see the famous Gwangalli Bridge through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The room is well-equipped, and having a washing machine in the room is a huge plus for longer stays. Overall, the room was mostly clean, though I did notice some stains on the comforter. The front desk staff were very welcoming; even though their English wasn't perfect, they went out of their way to help me. It was a nice experience overall and definitely great value for the money.

Front Desk & Service Front desk staff generally communicate in decent English, which is helpful for international guests. Upon arrival, we reached about an hour before the official check-in time of 4:00 PM (notably later than most hotels). Early check-in was offered at an additional charge of 18,000 KRW. While understandable, there is room for improvement here—particularly when rooms are already available, a more flexible approach would enhance the guest experience. A more significant concern was the housekeeping policy. For a five-day stay, only one room cleaning service was provided. This is quite disappointing and does not align with expectations of a hotel, especially given that rates remain at a premium during peak season. This aspect significantly detracts from the overall experience. 3. Room & Facilities We were assigned a room on the 21st floor. The room is spacious, resembling a studio apartment, and comes well-equipped with a kitchenette, washing machine with dryer, and a clothes steriliser (particularly useful for refreshing outerwear). The room includes both a queen-sized bed and a super single bed, along with heated flooring for added comfort. Tips: offer English translation card to show how to use the washer/ dryer would be useful. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the highlight is undoubtedly the view. The panoramic outlook over Haeundae Beach and the sea is excellent, complemented by a large balcony with seating—ideal for relaxation. However, another shortcoming is the lack of proper bath towels. Only small-sized towels were provided, which were also used as floor mats. This is below expected hotel standards and should be addressed. Overall Assessment The hotel offers strong positives in terms of room size, amenities, and especially the sea view. Its location is also convenient despite the slightly hidden entrance. However, the limited housekeeping service and absence of proper bath towels are notable drawbacks. Addressing these areas would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

Hotel de iluminación algo oscura pero genial enntodo lo demás. El personal muy amable y servicial, la habitacionnes muy grande y cómoda, tiene calefacción haata en el suelo, tiene unnordenador en el que puedes trabajar en un escritorio. El tv es grande y la cama es cómoda.tiene todon lo necesario.Sin embargo el desayuno es muy pobre y creo no merece la pena cogerlo.

El aspecto del hotel y el interior son muy únicos, es un hotel de 3 pisos sin ascensor, pero la señora de la empresa es muy amable y amable, también ayudó a mover su equipaje. La habitación tiene un tobillo para dientes. Mi habitación es suficiente para vivir solo, mi habitación no tiene ventanas, Pero no sentí el humor que se dice en los comentarios, el aislamiento no me siento especialmente mal, el foco es muy bueno, junto a la tienda de Leo!

The only minor downside is the uphill slope leading to the hotel, but it shouldn’t be a problem for most people with luggage.

The View: The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the stunning harbor view. Watching the bridge light up at night is a great way to wind down. Comfort: The beds are comfortable and provide a good night’s rest. Condition: While the room is clean, some of the furniture is starting to show its age and feels a bit dated. Facilities: Basic toiletries, drinking water, tea, and coffee are all provided. Note that the toilet and bathtub are in the same space (not separated). Climate Control: Be aware that during winter and early spring, the air conditioning is disabled. If the room gets too warm, you’ll need to crack the window to let the crisp Busan air in. The Elevator Challenge (The Biggest Downside) The most significant drawback is the elevator situation. The hotel only has three elevators, which is insufficient for a building of this size—especially since it is a popular choice for large tour groups from Taiwan, Thailand, and Hong Kong. The Struggle: It can be so challenging to catch a lift that I actually had to walk down the stairs from the 15th floor to the lobby. Dining & Convenience On-site Eats: There is a Korean Fried Chicken restaurant on the 2nd floor that is definitely worth a try—the taste is quite good! Convenience: A CU convenience store is located right in the lobby, which is incredibly handy for late-night snacks or essentials. Breakfast Tip: I recommend skipping the hotel breakfast package. The restaurant is on the 24th floor, meaning you have to wait for the elevator to go up, and then wait again to get back down to the lobby to start your day. You’ll save money and time by eating at one of the many local spots nearby. Location & Accessibility The location is a strong point for shoppers and explorers: Metro: About a 7–8 minute walk to Nampo Station. Shopping: Very close to Lotte Shopping Mall and the famous Gwangbok-ro Shopping Street. Note: The building is shared with another hotel (North Harbor Hotel), which contributes to the high foot traffic in the lobby and elevators. Hotel Adela is a solid choice if you value a spacious room with a beautiful view and want to stay near the Nampo-dong action. However, the elevator delays are a serious test of patience. If you choose to stay here, try to avoid traveling in and out of the hotel during peak tour group hours! Pack your patience for the lobby wait, and definitely grab some fried chicken on the second floor!
