Great Value Stay with Prime Location and Comfort During my recent visit to Qingdao, I stayed at the Yuemingze Hotel near the Qingdao University of Technology, and I was impressed with the overall experience. One of the primary advantages of the Yuemingze Hotel is its convenient location. Being close to the Qingdao University of Technology, it’s perfect for those who have business or academic engagements in the area. Additionally, the hotel is well-situated for public transportation, making it easy to explore the rest of Qingdao without hassle. The check-in process was notably smooth and efficient. The staff was welcoming and quick to assist, ensuring a pleasant start to my stay. Their friendliness and professionalism set the tone for a comfortable visit. The room was clean and well-maintained, which immediately provided a sense of comfort and relaxation. I appreciated the simplicity and practicality of the room’s design, which focused on essential amenities. Despite its central location, the hotel offered a peaceful and quiet environment, allowing for uninterrupted rest after a busy day. The pricing of the Yuemingze Hotel is very competitive, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers. While the hotel does not offer breakfast, the surrounding area has plenty of dining options to explore, so I didn’t find it to be an inconvenience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Yuemingze Hotel. Its strategic location, alongside the ease of check-in, cleanliness, and serene atmosphere, made it an excellent choice for visitors to Qingdao. It’s ideal for those who prioritize value and quiet without sacrificing comfort. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially if breakfast is not a necessity in your accommodation choice.

Orange Hotel is close to the Qingdao Railway Station and at the corner of the very lovely and lively Zhongshan Road and Shangieli. The room we got had a view of the back sea, it was huge and tidied up daily. There was free laundry and breakfast was filling. The staff was helpful too. Will I come back to this hotel, YES. Be sure to come when the weather is warmer as the entire area the hotel is I assume will become much livelier.

這個民宿的地理位置非常好，離流清河海灘非常近，大概步行5分鐘就能到，離嶗山大河東服務中心也很近，打車大概五分鐘就能到，而且離周圍的便利店，葯店，餐廳，咖啡店也都很近，很方便。然後這個民宿也很有特色，老闆娘是朝鮮族，提供的餐食有很多韓餐還是很不錯的。而且每天都有人來幫忙收拾房間的衞生而且還會幫忙補水，補茶包，真的很nice。我們訂的那個房間雖然不大，但是很乾凈，沒有異味兒而且佈置很温馨，是那種榻榻米格局，每天從嶗山景區玩回來之後回房間休息還是很愜意的。下次如果來嶗山玩兒的話我可能還會繼續考慮這家~總之推薦一下

We love this Sheraton and have booked there three times. We always get a lake view room that also has a lovely view of the Fushan mountains and, if you’re on a high enough floor, the lit-up skyscape of Qingdao’s tallest buildings. The beds are comfortable with soft linens. The immaculately clean room is bathed in light with floor to ceiling windows and soft muted colors. The temperature in the room is self controlled and just as we like it. Room service is quick and the food and fresh. The buffet breakfast is a welcomed start to our mornings. We will keep returning to this Qingdao gem.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel they claim to be on Trip.com. The first room we were checked-in had a broken window that couldn’t be opened and the reception didn’t know about it, although the window was closed with a tape and they should have known that this room had a problem. There were not many guests in the hotel and plenty of rooms to be offered. In the next room we found out that the show was out of hot water. The problem was with the central supply system and instead of repairing it themselves, the hotel engineer was coming to our room claiming that we should discharge water for 5-10 minutes before hot water starts coming out. This kept going for almost an hour, we were tired and wanted to sleep because it was late evening. The problem didn’t require our assistance because the problem was with the whole hot water supply system, not with our exact room. Also, they brought us a small heater to the room which I was surprised about, but then I understood that it was because the air-conditioner which had a heater mode, didn’t work well. I doubt that the hotel would have enough heaters for all rooms in case they had more guests. Without the heater it was quite cold in the room. Next morning the house keeper came at 9-30 am!!!Which is insane. We were sleeping. I’ve never encountered a hotel at which the house keeper came that early and disturbed the guests. Finally when leaving the hotel, we wanted to take those one-time use sleepers with us to use during the flight and found out to our surprise, that for 4 days we were living in the hotel sleepers were not changed even once. I called the reception, it was early morning (like 6-30 am) and they told me that the house keeper will bring us the sleepers when she comes to work. I told that we were leaving already and the reception promised to bring the sleepers asap. 10 minutes later nobody came and we went to check-out. At the check-out I asked for the sleepers again and told the receptionist that the taxi has almost arrived, so that she could bring us the sleepers first and then proceed with the check-out. She didn’t listen to me, still first processed the check-out and only after it went for the sleepers. So it basically took me half an hour and my nerves to get the sleepers that were supposed to be in my room from the very beginning. The general manager talked to us after the case with the hot water and the house keeper coming early in the morning. He was very polite, but this doesn’t eliminate the fact that basic services in this hotel leave much to be desired. On the plus side, very comfortable beds and clean spacious room.
