The staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel overall was very cozy, particularly the onsens. Although all the four onsens were opened for all guests at the hotel, you can use one of them as long as you want because guests are instructed to hang a sign on the onsen to show that it is currently occupied. This is a great way for the guests to enjoy privacy to themselves, although it is opened publicly. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package so we did not have to worry about finding nearby restaurants. The food was delicious here! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy traditional Japanese meals to get the full experience. We had a private barbecue for dinner, and it was truly immaculate! However, there was smoke all over the hotel lobby coming from the barbecue so it would have been better if they kept the windows opened. It was also indoors so it was slightly overwhelming with all the smoke everywhere in the restaurant. But everything else was on point and breakfast was particularly delicious.

El host es muy útil, amable y amable. La primavera caliente es maravillosa cuando se puede disfrutar con vistas al río. El desayuno también es agradable. También, el hostal es muy recomendado para los amantes de gatos. Sólo una cosa inesperada es que el anfitrión sólo habla japonés, pero ahora la técnica de traducción es amigable.

The staff are friendly and helpful. I was allowed to leave my luggage upon check out and still explore Beppu. The team even assisted me with taking my luggage to the front door. Rooms are clean and equipped with a hairdryer, kettle and fridge. There is a microwave near reception and there is laundry and dryer however you need to pay. Please note, there is no lift, only stairs to the reception from the main road however the staff helped me carry my bag. Location is a few minutes walk to Beppu station and buses therefor easy to get around. Thank you for a pleasant stay! I will stay again when I return to Beppu!

The staff are friendly but they know a little English, making them barely able to communicate with guests not knowing Japanese. Foods are great with characteristic and tasty dishes. The onsen is great too. Yet, the facilities inside the room are not okay. TV is not working and there is no switch found for the lamp of the bedroom. Besides, it caused us inconvenience as we were first wrongly led to a bigger room with one of its doors not yet readily installed, and we then had to move to another smaller one upstairs when we did not want to pay extra money for the room first assigned.

The tatami room was clean and spacious. Walls are a bit thin. I could actually hear sound from next door or people walking around the hallway. The futon mattress was quite thin and the pillow too hard for me. Also, I found that the filters of humidifier were so dirty that I washed them myself. Toilets are shared by all guests but only one is for female (two for male). When I brushed my teeth and washed my face, I had to let the water run for a long time before hot water came out. ¥150 of hot spring tax was collected upon check-in, of which I was not informed in advance.

La habitación es muy confortable y muy confortable para 2 personas con grandes equipajes, la habitación es muy limpia pero necesitamos hacer cama por nosotros mismos. El espacio común y la cocina también son buenos, ofrecen muchos tipos de bebidas con hielo para nosotros. Este hotel está situado muy cerca de la playa, la torre de Beppu y el Don Quijote. ¡Si tienes planes para ir a Beppu, es una buena elección!

I had a great stay. The owners are super lovely and will go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend the breakfast and dinners, they were great for big days of hiking and convenient as there aren't too many food options up in the mountains. The train carriages have a large sleeping area and a connected large room to store your things or just to hang out. Yes the pillows are like a bag of rice but it's part of the experience! Great place to stay and great value.

Near beppu tower and don quijote. There’s hot spring inhouse. Owner can speak well English. Original style house. Kitchen with water filter, microwave and fridge available. Open style shower in hot spring until 10am only.

El hotel es muy bueno, la habitación es limpia y temprana, el onsen individual es excelente. El único punto es que la ubicación será un poco lejos para los viajeros sin coches, ya que el hotel está en una colina, usted tendrá que pasar algunos esfuerzos para subir, pero la calidad del hotel merece este esfuerzo.
