We did’n like the scent of the air freshener used in the room which is lemongrass scented. It smells sour taste and not fresh feeling. Even the bodywash shampoo conditioner and handwash are lemongrass based too. And doesnt smell as fresh and delicate as the usual 5 star hotel. Quite disapointing.

The room is quite decent, but lighting is very odd. Shower also odd as the hot water only works for 15 menit or less. The bed and pillow is very good and ac was cold. With their pricing i better stay at others

Reserva por Trip.com. En general, la habitación era agradable pero demasiado oscura! no hay lugar bueno para hacerse de forma demasiado oscura. La luz del día estaba bien, ya que la habitación está rodeada por la ventana, pero en la noche, la suite junior casi no tiene luz (sólo 2 ahorcados luz de dimensión amarilla y el techo sobre la cortina de la ventana.. imagine lo dimensión de la habitación). Desgraciadamente, justo después de la entrada, encontró un pequeño cachorro en el baño. se escondieron después de llamar a la Casa de mantenimiento, pero no estaba muerto. Para un hotel de cuatro estrellas y un tipo de habitación de categoría superior, creo que se podría mejorar las instalaciones. Como están usando un pequeño tubo de jabón y champú, quizás están reduciendo el costo allí. El desayuno en general era bueno. Muchas variedades de alimentos de Indonesia - Asia - Internacional. Pero la estación de huevos podría mejorarse, como durante la hora de rush, la cocina era bastante larga. Se puede ver que el chef está sobrecargado y causar que la calidad de la comida se desvanece.

The day here was outstanding. Super fast check-in thanks to Alung, who was very kind and helpful with recommendations. The staff were all very friendly and quick to help out, especially the cleaning services. The bathtub was a bit narrow in width but shower pressure was great and the bed was amazingly comfy. Would happily stay here again when visiting Jakarta!

Hotel building and lobby looked nice enough. Checking in was a breeze. Room hallway looks old and gloomy, reminded me of my dormitory days but with better colours. Bedroom didn't have much space, but was still tolerable. The wallpapers had yellowing/dried leak marks. Washroom was tiny and all the drains (sink & shower) are very slow at draining. And no lock for the washroom. The worst was the lighting, i turned off the lights while sleeping, woken up to a room fully lit with tv on maybe a couple hours later. I thought i might have accidentally pressed a button while sleeping. Turned everything off and went to sleep again, then same thing happened again. In total this happened 3 or 4 times, too tired and sleepy to care. I didn't bother complaining because it happened between the middle of the night to dawn. Even if I did complain the possible solutions would be to send a technician or switch me to a better room, and neither is desirable. I was on a one night business trip with full schedule both days. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options, but the service wasn't so good. When i was showed to my table, the host asked if i wanted coffee or tea, I picked coffee. Went around to take my breakfast, came back to table and coffee wasn't there. Then not long after i started eating, a waiter came by and asked if i wanted coffee or tea, said coffee. 5 minutes later another waiter came by if I wanted coffee or tea..again. Finally got my coffee a good 15mins later, I should've just gotten a cup myself. Asked for sunny side ups, eggs came after i finished my plate, about the same waiting time with coffee and the egg station was empty when I ordered. I'm sorry but I don't think this was a 5-star hotel, and the price wasn't worth it. I believe the problem with light was caused by the room card slot right to turn on the power. Must've gone wrong and failed to detect a card in the slot and shut everything off, then suddenly detected the card again, hence all power and light kept turning back on. Won't be staying there again Hallway picture doesn't look that bad in picture, because my phone decided to make it look nicer by auto-adjusting the light level, much darker in reality

Llegué tarde y no pedí una habitación para no fumadores😒 1. Es posible que las sábanas de la habitación estuvieran secas, un poco húmedas y no tan suaves. Había un olor desagradable en la almohada el primer día y el olor en el sofá tampoco mejoró. Los próximos dos días, no sé si ese es el caso. Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que lo olí… La decoración general de la habitación es vieja y las cortinas están abiertas para ver la vista de la ciudad. 2. El desayuno es bastante bueno, tal vez porque hay muchos chinos viviendo allí, por lo que el desayuno👍 y la piscina por la noche también se ven muy bien👍 3. Debido a que hay infraestructura en los alrededores, el transporte no es muy conveniente y los taxis son propensos a sufrir atascos. 4. La mayor ventaja es que está cerca de Chinatown. Hay muchos restaurantes chinos deliciosos cerca y también es conveniente cambiar dinero.

While our overall stay at Oakwood Jakarta was enjoyable, the lack of a warm welcome was disappointing. The receptionist working between 8-9 PM on October 17th, 2024, wasn’t friendly or smiling, which left us with a poor first impression. She also didn’t provide any information about the hotel’s facilities – we weren’t told how to access the pool, the restaurants, or any other amenities. It felt like we were left to figure things out on our own. This was especially surprising after spending 10 days in Bali, where everyone went out of their way to smile, offer help with our bags, and make sure we were comfortable. At Oakwood, no one even asked if we needed assistance with our luggage. Despite the disappointing service, the hotel itself was great. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is also a huge plus – just a 10-minute walk to PIK Avenue and around 23 minutes from the airport, making it super convenient. If the service at the front desk were improved, this hotel could easily be a top-tier choice. For now, I’d still recommend it for its comfort, location, and overall facilities – just be prepared for a less-than-warm welcome.
