There a two nice pools at the hotel and it has a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel seems to be a popular destination for Egyptians to bring their kids during school holiday, so I would suggest wearing a one-piece bathing suit. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking the sea and was non-smoking. The breakfast is pretty good with a wide variety of choices, including freshly-made waffles and omelettes. We ate most of our meals at the hotel restaurants and both Izoya and Nazaya have a good ambience and above-average food. Quite pricey and popular among the locals for special occasions like birthdays. If you are a light sleeper, do not book this hotel. The original building is a beautiful historical hotel with a stained glass dome, marble floors and a ballroom, making it a perfect venue for weddings… and Egyptian weddings last until 4am, and the hotel hosted at least one pretty much every night. The music and laughter would have been a problem, except that it was almost completely drowned out by the air-conditioner, which sounded like an old VW Beetle trying to start. Honestly, I didn’t know it was possible for an AC to be so loud. Overall, the rooms and amenities are a bit out of date and faded and could do with sprucing up.

The room photograph and description (1st floor 28 square metres) did not match the actual room allocated (4th floor. 18 square metre).. This is illegal in many countries, but apparently not for this hotel. The duty manager of the day was prepared to allocate a better room, but only at an extra charge. I was not happy with this so did not pay extra. Breakfast was pleasant. Lovely view. Attentive waiting staff. Location excellent. The windows of the hotel ground floor facing the sea were disgraceful. Peeling paint Abandoned empty decorating containers, food waste. Lazy maintainance and lack of pride. Clearly nobody is checking or following up. This could be a great hotel, but is a now a reminder of indifference and apathy. The check out manager was more helpful and offered an upgrade should I visit again. However both parties know that is unlikely. I filled in the hotel questionnaire recording these issues. I hope it gets to the right person. The attached photograph shows the much nicer room and embellished description in the advert. Clearly all photos and measurements need to be updated so they actually match the rooms that are being sold. Since I expressed my concerns on 20 march 2023, there has been no update.

Después de poder cambiar de habitación con vista a la piscina, pude disfrutar de la tranquilidad. Pequeño inconveniente: el piso estaba en reformas, por lo que había un fuerte olor a pintura en los pasillos. Desayuno similar al del Palacio de Windsor. Lástima que todos los platos estén cubiertos con film plástico.

Aunque la ubicación del hotel es excelente y la estética del hotel es muy generosa / europea en su vibe (viejo ascensor, chico de campana, habitación de té), las instalaciones reales son sólo media. El mando de nuestra habitación se rompió, la habitación se fundió, no había conexión Wi-Fi disponible y no se habían proporcionado botellas de agua como se había prometido anteriormente. La novedad en vivir en un hotel de estilo “fabuloso” de turn-of-the-century fue buena para 1 noche, pero no estoy seguro de recomendar este lugar basado en la etiqueta de precios por noche.

We stayed in room 328. Very dated. Room not ready on arrival. Had to ask for extras water menus etc. Shower wet room floor flooded everyday drains need cleaning. Cleaner woke us at 0920 daily just out of hospital not appreciated. Instead of cleaning room to fill end constantly coming back knocking with water or towels or tissues not as relaxing as I had hoped. Carpets not hoovered once while there for five nights. Extremely disappointed for a Hilton.

The food and catering service was excellent. It will be grossly unfair if we do not make special mention of the extraordinary courtesy and service rendered by one, Mr. Ahmed Masry (FB). Regret I cannot say the same for Housekeeping who had to be reminded to replace the used tumblers and replenish the water bottles. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Clean central hotel, with comfortable beds and pillows. Rooms on 8th floor quiet, which is unusual. Poor WiFi reception and limited breakfast. Good for short stays only. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The manager is not flexible. I spec more than 7 days with two rooms, and they refused to give me the breakfast included even my request thus not happened with me all my life over world He is hiding himself and not in contact with the customer .

لقد كان لدي حجز ل ٥ ايام استخدمت ٣ أيام ولظرف طاري غادرت واهديت اليومين الباقيه لأحد أصحابي وبلغت الإستقبال بذلك وأخذت موافقتهم وحضر صاحبي وبلغ بأنه لامانع لكن فوجئت بعد ساعتين من مغادرتي ب رفضهم إسكان صديقي ولم استرد المبلغ فماهو الحل علما بأن موظفات الإستقبال إسراء ونور كانو لطفاء وخدومين
