"My family had the pleasure of staying with Monique at her lovely home nearby the vineyards of Vouvray. We were instantly charmed by her warm welcome, local knowledge, and stories of her experiences and travels. Monique went out of her way to help us secure a table at a popular, excellent restaurant in a troglodyte setting, and offered other excellent references for discovering local wines. Her second floor 3-bed room was spacious and comfortable, accented by her personal touches—from the lemon water to keep us cool in the summer heat to the Russian dolls that decorated the room. For breakfast, Monique served us homemade apple compote and a variety of confiture. By the end of our stay, we felt sad that we were not able to spend more time as Monique packed us off with our thermoses full of coffee for the continuation of our travels and will always remember the twinkle in her eye and sharp sense of humour — our hearts full of gratitude for her opening her home to us."

"Such a lovely spot in the charming village of Vouvray. Our suite on the premiere etage was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The property itself is like staying at a friend's country home: quiet, unpretentious, relaxing, and with one's every need seemingly anticipated and provided for. Breakfast was delicious and kept us full well into the lunch hour. The hosts, Elisa, Mattieu, and their dog, Vito, only made the trip more special. They could not have been easier to deal with or more accommodating. They helped with recommendations for area restaurants. The village of Vouvray does not have a lot going on. However, it is beautiful and centrally located for visiting chateaux and vineyards in the Loire Valley. There's a beautiful gourmet shop, a few tasting rooms, and even a good-size supermarket not far away. We would (will!) definitely return."

"We were attending a family wedding the weekend of March 1st in the Vouvray region. We booked all the rooms for that weekend. The setting is very pretty, peaceful, and pleasant. The rooms are large and spacious, and importantly, there's an elevator to access the upstairs rooms, which was much appreciated by the family patriarch, a sprightly 92-year-old! The owners were incredibly attentive and helpful, discreetly and efficiently responding to all our requests! A well-deserved 5 stars, with a big thank you!"
