"Brand new hotel by Marriott. We actually had an apartment. Everything was very new and nice. Breakfast was better than in most of the places we have been to. Gum is great, the staff is super professional. They are not very close to the Vail downtown but free shuttle solves this problem completely. One of the nest stays. "Very nice property for traveling with family. We had a condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a very nice kitchen and living room, with a fireplace. It was perfect for us. The location is a bit far from Vail Village, so it's not optimal if you don't have a car. The pool and activities are in a different building, so that also was a bit tricky to navigate in the snow. Other than that, great property."

"I booked Marriott's StreamSide Birch At Vail through EXPEDIA.COM. It was a NO CANCEL room. Later that day got an email from VACATION SIMPLIFIED telling me they were cancelling my reservation. Confused as to who VACATION SIMPLIFIED was, I called ******* who said they could not help me & to call VACATION SIMPLIFIED who only had a message saying they were having computer problems. So if I cancel I pay full price, if EXPEDIA/VACATION SIMPLIFIED CANCELS, no penalty at all on their part. Congress should look into these reservation sites just like they are doing with the Airlines. NOT RIGHT/NOT FAIR!!"
