"Estaba aquí el año pasado y la recepción y el salón y restaurante habían sido renovados. Pero las habitaciones no tenían en ese momento. Aunque las habitaciones fueron fechadas mi experiencia era inocente. El personal es tan agradable. Puedes decirle que la familia está funcionando. Como tuve una buena época el año pasado, he reservado este año de nuevo, incluso antes de que me di cuenta que habían terminado la renovación y todo el hotel está hecho ahora. Y OMG. Las habitaciones son hermosas. Esta es una de mis hoteles favoritos en los que he estado. Y voy a volver el año próximo. El hotel, el personal y la comida son todas las cinco estrellas. No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente. Aunque es todo agradable. Tengo que dar otro gran alimento. Es excelente."

"In February, we returned to the Höllensteinhütte - and enjoyed our stay as much as before! We enjoyed every single moment of our stay - not least because of the great and personal hospitality of the Erler family (with Michael, Thomas, and Hubert at the personal frontline) as well as their service staff - warm thanks to the entire team. The Höllensteinhütte is a marvellous blend of a traditional Tyrolean alpin hut and a boutique hotel. Rooms are newly renovated and nicely furnished (for recent pictures visit their web page - pictures here seem to be mostly from before the renovation). Also for this year's return, we were enchanted by the location of the Höllensteinhütte on a calm mountain plain (Alm) again - looking from the balcony at the sun lit peaks in the morning, enjoying a hunter's tea (Jagatee) on the porch after "returning from the valley" in the afternoon, or enjoying the star-sprangled night sky before closing the day. This year, we brought snow shoes. We had tried them before on smaller hikes and enjoyed them during our stay for hikes starting "right in front of the breakfast table". Stepping out of the hut and stepping right in to the nature, hiking up into the mountains and returning without having to jump into the hustle and bustle of the valley was a special gift to us. We also enjoyed the half-board in full again. All food was very tasty - a lovely and wide selection of local produce for breakfast and a delicious 4 course dinner - for which we would happily award a personal "star". The Höllensteinhütte is a clear recommendation from us to everybody who would like to enjoy the calmness of the nature at a Tyrolean mountain hut, yet in reach to the Tux skiing area, combined with the comfort of a boutique hotel, and topped off by personal hospitality. We are determined to return."
