We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Plano with 54 people. Quinn at the front desk was an amazing help; always ready to assist us and coordinate anything we needed. From helping our teams with breakfast, rooms, cleaning the conference room, and much much more. We truly appreciate his help and the entire staff who genuinely make an effort to be helpful and pleasant. We hope to be back soon!!

I booked a room through a Travelocity at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Dallas Plano/The Colony on Saturday May 18, 2024. When I arrived at the hotel, I checked in with the front desk rep Jennifer. I said to her “every time I check into a hotel my room is always by the elevator”. Jennifer stated yeah that is because you booked with a third party and we do not like third parties. I looked up at her and said I do not always use a third party to book my hotel rooms. Can you please make sure I am not next to the elevator. Jennifer stated your room is not next to the elevator and if it is come back down to the front desk and I will move you. I was in a rush to get to my family and friends so I did not have time to go back and forth with Jennifer and the way she was talking to me as if because I am getting the room and a cheaper rate I should accept whatever room I get. When I got off the elevator, I immediately notice my room was in fact next to the elevator. Again I was too busy and didn’t want to be labeled as the angry black woman that booked on a third party app, because I can’t afford the rate without going through a third party. The next day when I checked out of the room, I explained to Alisha at the front desk what happen. She apologized for Jennifer’s behavior. Alisha stated that it should not matter how the guest booked their rooms. If we request not to be put in a room they can look in the computer to ensure that they are not in a room near the elevator or etc. if the rooms are available. I always stay at a Marriott hotel branch but after this experience. I need to look in to other options if I am going to be treated a certain way if I book through a third party. It should not be offered if the guest are going to be treated different. I hope that I do not have to deal with this ever again and if that is the true case. Marriott should look into other options to book their rooms to the public.

Hace un tiempo que me quedé en un Hampton Inn & Suites. Esta instalación parece muy nueva. Todo estaba muy limpio y la zona de la lobby es definitivamente por encima de la media. Muchos habitaciones y asientos y el diseño es algo que verías en un hotel mucho más alto. La ubicación es grande. Cerca de muchos shoppings y restaurantes. Nos dirigimos a un lugar cercano en pocos minutos. El personal era amable, pero en dos ocasiones diferentes tuvimos que esperar en el escritorio delantero por 5-10 minutos antes de que un empleado se apareciera para ayudarnos. Primero para inspeccionar, y luego la misma noche para pedir cojines para el sofá dormitorio (también extraño que no había cojines en la habitación para usar el sofá dormitorio). El hotel está muy bien, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer. La habitación era muy confortable, pero era un diseño muy extraño. Me acostumbraba a quedarme en Hyatt Place y otros hoteles similares donde hay mucho asiento en la habitación. Aquí sólo había una silla de escritorio y un pequeño asiento. El baño y la ducha eran buenos. El desayuno era aproximadamente medio, pero nada especial. waffles, frutas, bagas, muffines, cereales, etc. Aprecié que estaba abierto a las 6:00. Muchos hoteles no abren su desayuno gratis hasta las 7:00 o más tarde y normalmente ya estoy fuera de la puerta a esa hora. Mucha mujer y niños disfrutaron la piscina interior. Niño ver las piscinas interiores abiertos de nuevo después de que tantos han sido cerrados debido a COVID.

My wife and I stayed here for one night. Was checked in by a very polite, upbeat, great guy. Quin I think was his name. Great employee. Hotel is fairly new. Great colors and decor. Breakfast options weee great. Would maybe stay here again. Great location. Close to a lot of restaurants. Here is what is keeping it from being a 5 rating and changing us to a definitely would come back. First, the breakfast starts to late. 7:30. Second, they only have ice on the second and fourth floor. We were on the 1st floor. They said I needed to go to the second floor. I go up there, and the ice machine is broke. Then go to the fourth floor to finally get ice. Third. In the room. Found a couple hairs in the bath tub. Seen some finger prints in a couple different areas. Needed more k-cups. Ice bucket top was broke and didn’t look to appealing. So, that’s are take on it. If there’s to many little things like that, it adds up. But a huge kudos to the employees and breakfast quality.

This place is just across Top Golf driving range . There is a water park a couple of blocks away . Plenty of eateries and shopping area are all around .
