Waterman Beach Village

"We spent a wonderful week at this "campsite"the second week of June. We have been to suptar before but thought we would try something different this time. The units are spotlessly clean with towels changed every day and sheets changed once in the week which is more than adequate. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and all seemed to take a pride in their jobs. We didn't use the pools and the beach was a bit rocky but just bring some beach shoes and enjoy the crystal clear waters. It's a short five minutes to the nearest supermarket which was ideal and a ten minute walk along the seafront into the town which has lovely restaurants and a few cafe bars.The walk back at night although dark felt completely safe as did the site itself. We encountered one or two ants as previously mentioned in other reviews but come on,you are in the middle of a pine forest so just be sensible and don't leave food lying around and you'll be fine. This is the most relaxed we have returned from a holiday in a long time and would love to return some time in the future."

"Other reviews are valid, the only additional issue that stopped us giving 5 stars is having to negotiate 4 flights of stairs in darkness because the stairwell lights are on a timer! This a safety risk that money-pinching / environmental impact cannot justify."

"The location is very good, five minutes walk from the pier, the roof bar has a beautiful view, the beach is free, and you can swim in the sea. The cocktails in the restaurant are delicious."

"Hotel was excellent food lovely and staff very helpful. More staff would be needed on the coctail bar during high season as quite a wait for service.. However investment is needed in the beach facilities. The loungers were very uncomfortable and needed cushions. Equally more parasols are needed as everyone was cramped underneath the trees in 32 degree heat. This would potentially make us prefer Bol as the beach facilities there were superb.. which Is a shame as the hotel was fabulous."

Hotel Villa Adriatica - Adults Only

"Villa Adriatica is a very nice, small and friendly hotel, well situated for an easy walk down to Supetar harbour. On arrival, we were met by the owner, Zlatan, who was very friendly and informative about the local area and things to do. Ours was a lovely, modern room with ample wardrobe space, and it was kept spotless by an excellent cleaner who came in every morning. There is a pleasant, quiet garden area for sunbathing and relaxing and a Whats App system for ordering drinks, which seemed to work well. The breakfast buffet provided an ample choice for all tastes. During our week long stay in Supetar we enjoyed an off-road excursion, a day trip back to Split, and used local buses to visit other resorts on Brač as well as time for sunbathing on the nearby beach. I would recommend looking at the 'Brač Island Travel Information' group on Facebook as a helpful resource when planning your stay. We would return to Brač and this hotel, very happily. ❤️"

"La zona del hotel es preciosa, pero no es un hotel de cuatro estrellas. Éramos ocho y habíamos reservado dos habitaciones idénticas. Una era mucho más grande que la otra y tenía dos baños. Una de ellas estaba cerca de otras habitaciones que estaban en reformas, lo que causaba mucho ruido. Las habitaciones en sí eran bonitas, pero también se oía mucho ruido de la discoteca o de turistas franceses borrachos cantando fuera del vestíbulo. El personal no hizo nada para silenciarlos. Uno viene a un hotel de cuatro estrellas para evitar tener que escuchar a borrachos cantando en plena noche. Además, viajábamos con niños pequeños, así que nos acostamos temprano y no disfrutamos de la discoteca durante horas. La comida no era muy buena; los mismos platos se alternaban entre comidas. Me decepcionó bastante la selección. Sin embargo, los huevos fritos y las tortillas preparadas por el chef estaban buenísimos. Algunos miembros del personal sabían muy poco inglés y, por ejemplo, los de recepción no entendían lo que les pedíamos en varias ocasiones. Sería genial que el personal pudiera mostrarte un mapa de la zona del hotel a tu llegada. También deberían explicarnos adónde podemos ir y qué incluye el todo incluido. El equipo de animación y el de Lollo y Bernie fueron geniales y muy amables. Tuvimos unas buenas vacaciones y disfrutamos del hotel, pero como ya hemos dicho, no parecía un hotel de cuatro estrellas."

"I can’t think of a better place to stay. The site really lives up to its name: Boutique. It’s a snippet of paradise on an island that is green, unspoiled and clean. Management have honored nature with the set-up and design of the buildings, and they provide spotless facilities. A big shout out to the fabulous Edita at front desk. You’ll receive a warm welcome and I reckon the biggest stress ball would unwind under the tranquility of pine trees and views of azure colored sea."
