"Just an excellent stay. The host is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate. Food is delicious. It is a quick 20 minute walk to the village centre and the bus is right outside the door! The bus goes everywhere on the island. Highly recommend staying at Lindisfarne!"

"I was here for a week for work. It rates as the 2nd worst hotel I've ever had the bad luck to visit. Plus points the Wi-Fi worked most of the time and the room was clean. The girl that was getting the breakfast area ready was friendly and helpful. Negatives, it's run down. It smells strongly musty/mouldy with a hint of sewerage. The reception staff where unwelcoming and unfriendly. There is no Bar. Breakfast was never ready before I had to leave for work at 8am. The rooms are dated and in severe need of refurbishment. It was like a cheap hostel and I've been in emergency homeless units (via work) and all of them where a much higher standard. The shower could be boiling hot, freezing cold or a 5-10 second cycle of the same. My laptop was bigger than the TV. Like stepping back in time to the bad old days. The people of Orkney where very friendly, talkative and helpful and the Islands are beautiful."

"Stayed here for 1 night on a work trip and the thing that stood the most to me is how very clean and well presented the room was. Everything was just so clean and well presented. Very nice modern room and modern bathroom. The host was also very friendly and helpful. 2 minutes away from the ferry is a bonus. Would definitely recommend"

"This was a miserable place to stay. Desperately in need of renovation and updating. The wallpapers were dated and the decor appalling. There was no receptionist most of the time. I chose it for its location which was good. However it was very expensive for what it was. And sad.We were desperate to get out of it."
