"The only positive I can give this is that the bed sheets were clean. The carpet was filthy - clumps of other people's hair and other dirt, so it had clearly not even been hoovered. Broken window blind, ingrained dirt around the bedroom, bathroom floor, flimsy shower and door, dirty base of bed, a disgusting looking brown mark on the bathroom door which I did not wish to investigate. I had planned to complain about all of these on my departure as we did not have time to do that the day before as we were in and out quickly to an event. However, there was NOBODY in reception or working in the hotel in the morning. There were other guests wandering around the dining area all asking each other what they were supposed to do about breakfast as they had paid for it and there was nobody there to serve - there were some basic items out, but no instructions - a lady managed to find jug of orange juice that was frozen! There was a number left on reception to 'call for assistance' which when we tried we couldn't get through. Our room was £174 for ONE night. Absolutely disgusting."
