"What a fantastic apartment hotel. We absolutely loved it. I think we must have been upgraded as our apartment was far beyond our expectations. It was gorgeous, very spacious, with a pitched roof and twin aspect wrap around balcony which had the sun all day. The staff were wonderful. We went at a quiet time of year and Carlos (that isn't spelt correctly) looked after us from breakfast through to dinner. They were very accommodating of our dog. The washing machines and dryers in the laundry room where very handy and very reasonably priced. It's a great location, with a gentle downhill walk down the field into town. It would be a ski to and from location in the ski season and couldn't be better placed for the fabulous Hinterhag Alm apres ski hut. We hope to visit again in the future."

"Una estancia de éxito alrededor – volvemos! Hemos disfrutado nuestra estancia en este hotel desde el principio hasta el final. El inicio de entrada digital funcionó completamente sin problemas –, sin complicaciones, rápido y moderno. La organización de la casa ya se ha mostrado aquí. La ubicación del hotel es excelente – tranquila y sin embargo central, con un punto de partida perfecto para actividades en el entorno. El espacio de bicicleta seguro, que fue un auténtico plus para nosotros como ciclistas, era muy decorado, espacioso y con balcón en el que se podía relajar maravilloso por la noche. Muy agradable: el baño separado, además del baño, era – un detalle que falta en muchos hoteles. Una auténtica atención fue la zona de bienestar del hotel – con amor, muy cuidado y exactamente lo correcto después de un día activo. Aquí se pensaba realmente todo para permitir que los huéspedes relajaran puramente. Pero lo que hizo especialmente nuestra estadía fue el restaurante del hotel. El desayuno era variado, de alta calidad y no dejó abiertos los deseos –, ya sea pan fresco, especialidades regionales o frutas frescas. La cena también fue de alto nivel – platos creativos, perfectamente preparados y servidos en un ambiente elegante. Un gran elogio se debe al propietario Roland, que se encarga del bienestar de sus huéspedes con gran cordialidad y pasión. Su presencia, su amistad y su compromiso hacen la diferencia – se siente bienvenido y bien levantado. Resumen: Un hotel que se lleva al detalle con mucho amor – ¡Podemos recomendarlo sin reservas y esperamos nuestra próxima visita!"

"We were made so welcome at eva, Village. From the moment the wonderful doorman greeted us and whisked our bags away, to the glass of prosecco and efficient check in. We had asked for a larger room but were unable to have this on the first night when we booked so were going to move on day 2, however there had obviously been a change in bookings and to our surprise and delight we were directed to the room that I had wanted and with the view that I had requested. We were so pleased."

"My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Hotel Eggerhof. using it as a base to expore the area and walk the mountains (you can access one of the many mountain paths directly from the hotel grounds). The location is very quiet and the hotel has stunning views over the mountains and down the valley. The Eggerhof was spotlessly clean and and beautifully decorated throughout and the staff were always friendly and helpful and spoke English which was very helpful for us. The food in the restaurant was exceptional for both breakfast and dinner, as a Ceoliac I was very happy with the attention to detail the hotel paid in ensuring I had fantastic and safe gluten free options for breakfast and dinner every day. Having the small farm on site is great for animal lovers as we were able to go visit the adorable goats, ponies and pigs each day! We would wholehearted recommend staying at Hotel Eggerhof."

"we had a lovely stay at the Berger Sports hotel in Saalbach for a week from 17/6/26. The staff were extremely helpful and kind - special thanks to Mike on reception and Monika in the restaurant. Both breakfast and dinner had a good variety of food choice in buffet style to support the excellent three main dishes offered at dinner each day - meat, fish and vegetarian - each meal was an enjoyment and the cake desserts were mouth watering. You were certainly never go hungry if you visit this hotel and your tastebuds will be well treated"

"This is outstanding hotel! We booked last minute for 4 nights when unseasonable bad weather forced us to change our hiking plans. We chose Hotel Astrid almost at random and were so happy we did! The staff are fantastic, so helpful and friendly. The room was great, as was the beautiful sauna, pool and relaxation room which we had to ourselves every time we used it. There are nice touches like ‘coffee and swim club’ between 7am and 9am every morning, plus a tea making station in the relaxation room. The whole hotel’s decor is cosy, classy and relaxing. However what really sets this amazing hotel apart is the food! We ate there every night because the first meal was so good we couldn’t bring ourselves to go anywhere else. The quality, quantity and presentation of the dishes is outstanding, as was Marlies who looked after us in the restaurant each evening. The breakfast was also first class, served in a lovely rooftop room with a great view. The location was also excellent for the ski lifts and local buses, and a summercard is included which includes travel on all these. We stayed as a couple, but the hotel was clearly also very welcoming to families. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, can’t recommend it highly enough. We are so glad we found it and hope to return as soon as we can!"

"My one moan is that the hotel advertises itself as ski in ski out. It isn't. The walk to the lift is short, only 5 minutes but a pain on the way home as it is uphill. And you need to navigate to the bottom of the kohlmais lift at the end of the day as otherwise it's a 15 minute walk from the other lifts. There doesn't seem to be a ski bus in the town. The hotel does offer a limited shuttle service but only twice am and pm. Moan over. This is a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, with plenty of storage, good wifi and a decent bath. A pleasant little bar, and excellent food at breakfast and dinner, although perhaps short on carbs. But you can fill up with truly wonderful bread (different rustic bread every night)! And a great cheese board. Very friendly and helpful service: a real family feel. Pleasant house wine at 50 euro, beers at about 8 euro. Heated boot rack in the ski room. It's a short walk to the centre if you are looking for fun before or after dinner. Just before you get into the centre you pass four very lively bars. Take your choice! My son and I opted for the off piste bar most evenings: a real crush but very entertaining downstairs in the cellar. A bit further on and you can find the Mpreis supermarket. And lots of other bars. Skiing is great. The three areas link up well with only a short walk between them. Snow cannons everywhere and the pistes are very well kept. Quite a few nice restaurants especially on the kohlmais slopes. Generally very few lift queues even on a sunny Sunday. All in all I spent a very happy week here and would love to return."

Good solid mattresses, beautifully handy bathroom with big inlet shower, hairdryer, small refrigerator and balcony. Admitted, it was also unusual warm outside but a box/ room could be a good investment. There is a large basement where bikes can be safely stored. Opportunity to load E-bikes! Apart bike wash also present. The staff were also excellent. All girls were always friendly and helpful. During breakfast, the plates are picked up quickly and the extensive breakfast buffet is constantly supplemented."

"En julio, nos encontramos en el Alcalde de Saalbach (2 adultos, 2 chicos 14+17 y perro Eddy) durante 10 días. Habíamos puesto el apartamento Alpenherz con balcón y un apartamento de confort, ambos unidos en una unidad de vivienda. El tiempo era muy modesto, más nos disfrutamos de la sauna y la cabina de infrarrojos, con unas vistas maravillosas y unas posibilidades de descanso. El desayuno también fue muy bueno. Diversos pan/pan, variaciones de queso, variaciones de huevos, ... veces panqueques, ...una gran selección y algo para grandes y pequeños. La ropa de ruedas se puede almacenar en el espacio extra. Las cajas fueron ventiladas por la noche, de modo que los zapatos y ropa estaban secos el día siguiente y no tenían el "lavandería" en el apartamento. La familia Kuhar era super amable y útil. Gracias por este buen tiempo ⛰️💚"

"Nuestro viaje de grupo a la cuero fue un éxito completo – He organizado el viaje para 44 personas y nos disfrutamos cada minuto. Hay que destacar especialmente la pensión de jubilación: los alimentos siempre han sido frescos, variados y preparados con mucho amor. Se ha observado que aquí se presta atención a la calidad y el placer. Las habitaciones son funcionales, en parte ya están modernizadas y al mismo tiempo están diseñadas con mucho encanto. Se están planeando renovaciones, lo que sin duda hará que la casa sea aún más atractiva. La situación es un punto de ventaja absoluto: la entrada a la zona de esquí es ideal y hace que la estancia sea especialmente cómoda para los deportistas de invierno. Pero el espectáculo de nuestra estancia fueron los anfitriones Paul e Ian. Con su extraordinaria amistad, devoción y atención, han conseguido entusiasmarnos cada día. No sólo nos hemos sentido bienvenidos, sino realmente apreciados. La confianza y el respeto que se nos han dado ha hecho de nuestra estadía algo muy especial. Como organizador, me gustaría señalar que fue una lástima que no pudiéramos llegar con 50 personas como se planeaba, debido a las renuncias a corto plazo, y que, por tanto, no podíamos utilizar dos habitaciones. La próxima vez, definitivamente, pondremos toda la pensión. Así que gracias también a los invitados privados amables y comprensivos este año.
