The HAM and Cheese ★★★

"This is my favorite hotel during this trip to the UK. It's really like the kind of hotel in a classic novel, with a bar or restaurant downstairs and several guest rooms upstairs. The driver thought that the conditions of such a hotel would be very poor and not as good as a hotel. Actually no, it’s very nice inside, clean, comfortable, spacious and unique! The most unforgettable thing for me was that on the day of arrival, I was menstruating and I didn’t have any sanitary napkins. I was very anxious because there were no supermarkets around and the location was quite remote. I booked this place because I wanted to take the Pickering Steam Train the next day. Hotel. I ate on the first floor and told the waiter about my difficulties. I didn't express myself accurately. The waiter went to the back to get dry paper towels, wet paper towels, and sanitary napkins, and asked me which one I needed. I pointed at the sanitary napkin. She went to the back and gave me three pieces, which were wrapped so that no one else could see them. I thanked her very much and wanted to give her money, but she didn’t want it. I gave her a brooch I bought the day before yesterday, and she happily accepted it. I was very happy!"

The Royal Oak Hotel ★★★

"El hotel está en el centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentra el centro de la ciudad. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no se puede encontrar en el hotel."

White Horse Farm Inn ★★★

"La ubicación es muy agradable y le recomienda que se vaya y se quede."

Brickfields Farm ★★★★

"Just returned from a wonderful weekend here. We were very impressed with everything! Our room was beautiful, it had a lovely view over fields where we watched rabbits and monk jack playing. Our breakfast was cooked to order and to perfection! Lovely friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in The Rose room"

Tillers Cottage ★★★★

The Feathers Hotel, Helmsley, North Yorkshire ★★★★

"La habitación deluxe era limpia, pero muy pequeña. Los platos son adecuados, los principales cursos que habíamos elegido de la noche no estaban disponibles, vendidos a las 7:00, por lo que tuvimos que elegir alternativas, que eran menos que inspiradoras."

The Cornmill ★★★

"To call this a B&B doesn't do justice to the delightful property filled with fascinating antiques and pictures, and including the remains of the waterwheel in the breakfast room. Bedrooms are comfortable and there's a guests' sitting room full of books to browse through too. Karen, the owner, is very welcoming and provides a good, varied breakfast with plenty of decent coffee. Highly recommended. Kirkby Moorside and the surrounding area are full of opportunities for walking and sight-seeing."
