"This was my third time visiting Sassa al Sole. We first visited in October last year, viewing it as a potential wedding venue and we fell in love. I visited again in June this year with my mum and she also fell in love. On the 4th-6th October 2024, we had our 3 day wedding celebrations here and it was everything we could have ever dreamed of. The venue is absolutely stunning, the staff are amazing. It has the most beautiful views and everything is so clean. It will always hold such a special place in our hearts. I can see on the previous reviews that people mention the lqck of food and drink available on the evening- this is true but there are fantastic options in the nearby town of San Miniato or even down the road at Casa Masi. You just need to know this in advance as it is a smaller boutique establishment. If you are looking for a romantic and quiet break in the Tuscan countryside (ideally with a car) or the most insane Italian wedding venue, then Sassa al Sole is for you. We cannot wait to return."

"5 stars for the view, location, tranquility, service, food experience. I had such as wonderful 2-nights stay at the suite ! After the hectic and exhausting museum hopping in busy Florence, we decided to drive a little bit further away in countryside to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Tuscany potscard countryside view. The location is not too far from Pisa airport, about 30 mins drive. It was so easy for me to drive back to Pisa airport on our last day. The suite is spacious, very clean and thoroughly designed to assemble farmhouse and modernity, which is inspiring. Each window in bedrooms have view towards the beautiful vineyard. In afternoon, we took a walk along the wineyard after wine tasting session in La Spinetta which is just across the hotel. The receptionist lady was so polite, came to our car and helped us with the baggage. The next day, i had to last minute changed my breakfast menu, and they did it without complaining! They are so professional and kind ! The hotel has also free access to steam bath room exclusively for the guests. It is very relaxing after whole day exploring the village. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was fantastic! Food is amazing, both of us are not fans of fine-dining but the experiences we had in Laqua rest. was worth it. We ordered ala carte, they are very professionals and explained us about the details of the food, recommended us a good wine which i really enjoyed to drink with my fish plate. Lovely dessert as well. My most favorite part of the stay is the fantastic room delivery breakfast ! I miss this a lot when i came home ! There are so many options to choose and it is all of high quality local ingredients , just melted in my mouth especially the breads and fruit juices. I would recommend Laqua vineyard hotel if you look for a convenient drive from/to Pisa airport and if you want to enjoy the magnificent vineyard stay, 5-star experiences with resonable price. The only downside is that the pool was closed when we stayed there in October due to weather. But we knew this before and have no expectation on it. "Magnificent setting. The golf experience ends at the driving range… Very pleasant staff. Spacious, air-conditioned room. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open, but we were able to buy charcuterie boards for the evening with a good wine from the estate. A minor mishap: a water leak in the bathroom during the night… It happens! Apart from that, a pleasant stay with an excellent breakfast."
