"Communication with the hosts prior and during our stay was prompt, friendly and professional. Having completed safaris in various countries Muweti Bush Lodge offers an outstanding safe experience in nature. Our hosts and guides, Hardus and Neil, were brilliant over our 5 days with very informative safari drives each day, plus an extra bonus drive when they received news of 2 rhinos at a watering hole several kms away, delicious braai and meals and friendly conversations during mealtimes. We experienced and learned so much about the local flora and fauna during our stay. Muweti Bush Lodge is comfortable and well positioned. We were fortunate to have a tent/cabin where we regularly saw a variety of animals (elephants, giraffe, zebra, lion, hyena and various antelopes) from our bed and balcony throughout our stay. All attached pics (except rhinos) were taken from our room. The wild bushbuck and lamb wandered into our compound and stayed a while. Everything about our 5 days at Muweti was outstanding. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a real African safari experience."

"El hote esta al lado de una de las puertas del kruger, pero es la zona del parque con menos avistamientos de animales Prácticamente no vimos ninguno. La habitación es amplia confortable, pero el baño se encuentra separado de la cama por una puerta corredera de cristal. El desayuno tiene menús que en un principio parece cerrados y luego resuelto que puedes elegir platos que está en un menú y en otro, me parece un lío... La cena bien La zona de piscina es pequeña y está al lado de la zona de aparcamiento, no me pareció agradable"

"We were very surprised with Sunbird Lodge on our first vist there! Dave the owners hospitality helps you to feel relaxed and secured! The room was clean and tidy, the linen fresh, beds comfortable, the room has everything in you need for a sleep over. He even arrange a dinner for us at a local restaurant. Breakfast was also very delicious and service very good the next morning. The place has a nice bushveld atmosphere and close to Phalaborwa gate to enter Kruger Park. Will defnitely stay here again!!!"

"Area around the lodge industrial type. Lodge location across a main road busy with long haul trucks. Initially wrong room allocated , subsequently corrected. Room clean. No coffee, tea or sugar in the kitchen. No shampoo. Thick ice in the fridge freezer with poor cooling. Mattress on one of the beds was very soft. Sheets clean. Security light filtering through the curtains disturbing sleep. Overall basic accommodation. "

A bar area provides a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a drink in the evening. The owner is happy to assist with any questions. A particular highlight is the provision of small cooler boxes for picnics in the nearby Kruger National Park. The rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, are very lovely. The bed, complete with a mosquito net, featured excellent mattresses. There is a small terrace located just outside the garden door. The staff are charming, and the dogs are adorable. The guesthouse is fenced and secure. A truly wonderful stay. "

"The most amazing place imaginable in Kruger. We saw pictures before we arrived at the lodge, but when we arrive we realize how beautiful the place is, connected to nature, not fenced (which adds to the feeling of excitement and danger, but the owners of the place were very careful and made us feel safe the whole time). The design of the lodge is tasteful, in the spirit of Africa, elegant and calm. The nature around is simply breathtaking, and the most amazing thing is that animals come all the way to the lodge pool to drink water. Elephants, giraffes, zebras and more arrived. It's a magical moment when it happens, I hope for you that you will have such an opportunity because it depends on the animals and not the owner. The owner of the lodge cooks incredible food, every day and every meal the dishes change and they are at the level of a gourmet restaurant. I have no words to describe how special the experience was, I'm so glad we chose to stay at this place, and I wish we had more time (I recommend booking a minimum of 3 nights). There is an option to go for a game drive with the owner to watch the animals around, we did this twice and got to see lions, elephants, giraffes and quite a few other animals, highly recommended, he can tell you a lot about the surrounding."
