"Visited for a 3 night mother and daugthers trip. Hotel location was ideal, quiet area but only 3 mins away from the beach front. The beaches were rammed - every bit of beach taken Room booked turned out to be an apartment so extremely spacious and clean with a lovely balcony at the front which had the evening sun. Breakfast was plentiful and homemade. Evening dinner choices would be given out at breakfast time to order for the evening - limited choices but staff very happy to offer alternatives if need be. Pool is small and yes, only 12 sun beds and v strict rules about not being able to sit on a sun lounger, reserve a sunlounger before the space is open at 10am. Staff really helpful and friendly A definite place to stay if looking for a smaller hotel, in a great location"

"Terrible. Do not listen to reviews. Website indicates its an apartment in a hotel. This is not a hotel. On arrival we were told it hasn't been a hotel for many years but we showed the website and they said its not updated and shrugged. There is masking tape on the door to cover the hotel sign and the whole vibe downstairs seems rundown. The apartment suite had a broken plug socket. Unclean shelves in the bathroom. 1 broken shelf in bathroom. Dust on bed frame. Sofa bed with marks, scuffs, dirt and cigarette burn. The blinds were broken at the patio door. Dingy light. The whole trip felt like a nightmare."

"There were ants running around the room and the bed. Everything was dirty. The bathroom was moldy. The staff was unfriendly, as if they were doing us a favor by letting us into the hotel. There was no breakfast at all: an omelet, sausages, a couple of pieces of cheese and salami. If you don’t come at the beginning of dinner, you probably won’t get anything. There was a spider on the wall. The room was dirty and old, as if no one had ever cleaned it. There were lumps of dirt in the corners. The bed linen was changed every 3-4 days. Everyone was talking about the great location. It’s about a 35-minute walk to a good beach. We ran away to another hotel after a few days of staying here. They didn’t even refund us for the days we didn’t stay here. Disgusting. Don’t come here!"

"This place was perfect. Beautifully clean apartments with cooking facilities and everything you would need like salt, pepper, washing up liquid and sponges, coffee, tea and a good coffee maker - just very generous. The beds were comfortable, aircon and full blinds on the outside of the windows so blissful, dark, cool sleep. The area was quiet but within a very short walk from a supermarket, farmers market, a kiosk with the cheapest coffee in the world, a good traditional restaurant and the beach. There are also beautiful walks to nearby beaches. The owners were so lovely and spoke really good English, they lent us a beach umbrella and paddle boards (although I think this is subject to them having them to lend so not guaranteed!). They were generous with their time and their recommendations. Petrovac itself is charming and complete in construction terms so there was very little building work and the town is very pretty. There was a brilliant snackbar/canteen just up the road towards the farmers market which sold hot and cold food by weight (and nice puddings) if you don't fancy cooking. If you have accessibility challenges then this place may not be for you. There are stairs to every room and the pool and no lift. All in all it was great, we went with LoveHolidays and the transfers were also very well organised. Thanks again Victor and Zinnia! Hope your toe is better now. PS we stayed at the same time as the reviewer who gave 1 star. They seemed to be having a pretty good time for a 1 star review! We didn't have a car with us but it was very clear that parking was up at the top of the town - something to bear in mind if you are driving."

"This complex is terrible. We've lived here for quite a while (14 years) and bought an apartment. And I'd like to point out that it's getting worse every year... First, let's start with the parking. We bought a parking space, so it's our private parking. This "manager" lets tenants into the parking lot even though he knows there are no spaces. People start parking in our private parking or simply blocking their cars. Now about the housing. The apartments have two keys (one for the owners and one for the manager). And things disappear on a regular basis, stolen without permission. Every year, when we return home, we don't know what's missing. Our TV, hair dryer, slippers, and even a pressure washer (and that's just a small part of what was taken). It's also worth noting that the manager uses other people's apartments as room service. They broke our dishwasher and our range hood. The list of problems is endless, from a broken elevator to stolen items. It's also worth noting that the manager is never at work, except for a couple of days during the peak season. There are always new people, and the manager even employs minors to supervise the complex. Think twice before moving in!"

"Terrible. No escuches los comentarios. El sitio web indica que es un apartamento en un hotel. Este no es un hotel. Al llegar se nos dijo que no ha sido un hotel durante muchos años, pero mostrábamos el sitio y dijeron que no se actualiza y se ahogó. Hay cinta de mascar en la puerta para cubrir la señal del hotel y toda la vibración abajo parece estar desplomada. La suite de apartamento tenía un socket de plug roto. Unas cubiertas no limpias en el baño. 1 cubierta rota en el baño. Polvo en el marco de la cama. La cama de sofá con marcas, escudos, suciedad y quemadura de cigarrillos. Las ciegas se rompieron en la puerta del patio. Luz loca. Todo el viaje se sentía como un pesadilla."

"We stayed one night in room 402 of this hotel, a room that seemed abandoned to us because of its terrible condition: ripped out socket, no curtain at the window but a remnant of a rod fixed to the wall, non-existent baseboard of the bathroom door and no bedside lamps, but after complaining we were brought a broken one; not to mention the dilapidated furniture and the carpet in the staircase and corridor. The only positive points are the quietness and the proximity to the city center. Hotel to avoid"
