"We are in town because my Mother-in-law died Monday and we’re staying through the funeral. When we checked in, I had concerns about the hotel because of the pet bed behind the counter and the visible pet stains on the floor behind the counter. I should’ve listened to my gut. There was an odd, musty smell and matted carpet in the halls. Last night we found two bugs, one running across our pizza. This morning we found a large engorged bedbug on crawling on my mom’s bed. There was also a room down the hall with towels blocking the bottom of the door in the hallway. Probably fumigation. We showed the bedbug to the manager after he told us “we don’t have an issue with those.” Then he was rude to mommy and acted like she didn’t show it to him when we were leaving. Do not recommend."

"Having stayed at more than a few Best Western hotels the Parsons, KS location was so very disappointing. The hotel was in need of a complete deep clean! My room smelled like dog urine, the carpet was awful, the beds sheets barely covered and the towels were worn out and hard. The breakfast was not as other hotels within this chain with missing and old condiments. Added to the need for general maintenance and cleaning attention it seemed the staff was not concerned with the guest but enjoyed visiting with friends in the lobby while a hotel staff dog walked freely throughout the hotel. My suggestion is don’t even think about staying at this location. In addition I would not of been comfortable with the ick of this location with my dog."
