We stayed at the Floral Hotel beside Dream Valley during Chinese New Year, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in China. While the location is already a major advantage being just steps away from Dream Valley and close to the other Hengdian attractions - what truly sets this hotel apart is the heart and personality behind it. This is not a typical boutique hotel. It’s a place shaped by the owners’ passion, taste, and genuine care for their guests. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that the hotel is a labor of love. The architecture and interior design are beautifully curated, with many pieces collected by the owners over the years. Walking through the courtyard and hallways feels like stepping into a different era, almost like entering a scene from the Song dynasty. Yet the rooms themselves are fully modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. It’s a rare blend of historical atmosphere and contemporary convenience, and it creates a sense of immersion that you simply don’t get at most hotels in the area. Even though we didn’t stay in the hotel’s best room, we were extremely comfortable. The beds are very firm - something to keep in mind depending on your preference - but we slept well. The room features a large, modern soaking tub that’s perfect after a long day of walking through the film sets and a separate bathroom and shower. And one of our favorite touches was the smart projector in the room, which turns a simple movie night into a cinematic experience. It’s small details like these that show how much thought has gone into making the stay enjoyable. But the true highlight of our visit was the hospitality. The owners are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome. On one rainy day, when there wasn’t much for us to do outside, they invited us into their main hall for tea. They set up a traditional tea table with a heated brazier, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere that felt like visiting old friends rather than staying at a hotel. They kept bringing local snacks: seeds, small rice cakes, and even freshly cooked sweet potato - all offered freely and with genuine kindness. My wife and kids loved every bit of it. What could have been a dull, rainy afternoon became one of our favorite memories of the entire trip. Their kindness extended beyond that moment. At one point, we accidentally made a mess in our room (entirely our fault) and the owners helped us clean up without a hint of frustration or judgment. It’s rare to find that level of patience and understanding, especially during the busy holiday season. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The hotel has a local cook who clearly takes pride in her craft. The dishes were fresh and simple but full of flavor, prepared with care and attention. You could feel her pride in everything she served. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and appreciate the home cooked moment, rather than rushing through a buffet line like at larger hotels. All in all, this hotel was a true win for us. The personal touches, the warmth of the owners, the passion of the cook, and the unique atmosphere created by the carefully collected antiques all come together to create an experience that stands out among the many boutique hotels in the area. In fact, I would say it’s probably better than any other hotel around Hengdian. It’s rare to find a place that feels both deeply rooted in local culture and fully equipped with modern comforts, but this hotel manages to do exactly that. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian, whether for the parks, the film sets, or simply a relaxing getaway. And if we ever return to the area, we would stay here again without hesitation.

The location is good. The hotel interior desires really nice or decorate by antique furniture and the lighting is very nice. You can take a lot of photo in the ground floor and corridor. The room is the same as what I see in the website decoration is nice and clean. We went in May and the weather is hot and the hotel air condition is this is good enough. We got upgraded to bigger room and the washroom is very big. The receptionist and or the hotel butler ( I forgot adked her name) is very friendly and helpful. I would like to said thank you to her. The hotel provided free breakfast. It tastes good. We lived 2 nights and they very early in the morning that we cannot catch up the breakfast time. The hotel butler prepared takeout for us so that we can have it in airport. The breakfast included congee, homemade sausage, fruit, milk. It all tasted good. I definitely will recommend to all my friend. I will book again when I come back..

Very friendly and great hospitality by the owners. They are friendly and helpful and gave us a food and attraction strategy guide which was very useful as our purpose in Hengdian was to visit the major filming studios. The estate was located deep in a neighbourhood area and we have a small problem locating the front entrance desk. Currently they are still doing upgrading to the estate with gardens and swimming pool (refer to photo). I'm sure it will look amazing once completed. The estate was built in 2023 from the ground up and was designed by the same designer who did the Qin Palace. No wonder this homestay has this ancient building look. The room was pretty nice but I find the bed to be too stiff. I'm used to a soft and cushy kind of bed back home and couldn't sleep well for the 3 nights we are there. My family members have no such problem though. Homemade breakfast was provided everyday by 1 of the cleaner cum cook lady. She was super friendly and the food are fantastic and healthy. This is definitely worth a look if you are looking for accomodation in Hengdian and want to experience a more localised feel compared to a standard hotel stay.

We choose this hotel because the walking distance is 5 minit to hengdian studio. So easy. We arrive at 2am, and the hotel greet us and very helpful. The room is so comfortable with breakfast. I am Muslim, and able to eat side dish with egg, sweet potato, bun,yogurt. We check out, and hotel staff help us when they see we not able to get the Didi. He found out we are still standing outside hotel for more than 15minit. He so helpful.so, we able to catch our train for our next trip. My family so great full. Tq

This was such a fun stay and I highly recommend for anyone planning on visiting Hengdian.It's so fun to be in a themed hotel room. I asked for an Eastern style room and it was so gorgeous. I could see the Forbidden City from my room window. It was so nice to be able to enjoy the evening festivities of the Guangzhou/Hong Kong area and then be able to just go straight up to my room to rest right afterwards. You also get the whole place essentially to yourselves for as many daytime photos as you want before the zone is open to the public. You can also get good evening photos after most of the crowd has left. There's even shuttles to help you move about the zone but I didn't need to use it since I was close to the entrance and opted to walk and take in the views when in the zone. There is a WeChat group chat you can join when you arrive where you can ask for help anything related to your stay in the zone. The room was very comfortable and I had a great time. The other scenic zones were just a quick Didi ride away. Highly recommend!

A pesar de que las instalaciones son algo anticuadas, mi estancia en el Hotel Hengdian Yihe (Sucursal Qingwang Palace Dream) fue muy agradable y no dudaría en darle una buena calificación. La mayor ventaja del hotel es su inmejorable ubicación. Está muy cerca del Palacio Qin y de los lugares turísticos de Qingming Shang He Tu, lo que resulta increíblemente conveniente para explorar la zona. Si bien el mobiliario es algo antiguo, todo el establecimiento está muy bien mantenido y limpio. Lo que realmente hizo que nuestra estancia fuera excepcional fue el personal, en particular la recepcionista. Fue increíblemente amable y paciente, respondió a todas nuestras preguntas y nos ofreció excelentes recomendaciones sobre atracciones. Otro detalle agradable fue el suministro ilimitado de agua embotellada que nos proporcionó el hotel. En cuanto a opciones gastronómicas, encontramos varios restaurantes de fideos halal de Lanzhou en un radio de entre 1,5 y 5 km. Moverse por la ciudad fue fácil y económico usando Didi. Si priorizas habitaciones modernas y lujosas, este hotel quizás no sea para ti. Pero si valoras una ubicación privilegiada, la limpieza y un servicio excepcionalmente amable, este hotel es una excelente opción.

Ubicación perfecta, desde el aereopuerto llegas en metro en unos 35 min promedio, y en Didi en 30 min al hotel; el hotel está entre dos estaciones del metro, llegas en unos 7 min caminando, no está en la primera planta sino en la 15, aquí la recepción te da la bienvenida en colores rojos, los recepcionistas son muy amables y pacientes cuentan con traductor para hacerte la vida más fácil, hay cuarto de lavado para quienes van por varios días, el cuarto amplio y buenas vistas, también cuentan con un mirador desde el piso 15, el ruido no se percibe en la habitación. Tienes alrededor muchos puntos que puedes visitar caminando como el museo de los palillos, centros comerciales,casa de té, te encontrarás en medio de dos estaciones de metro que te dan acceso a movilidad para ir a otros puntos de interés, el teatro 1940 a 35 min en metro, caminado todo lo demás como lo es el show de drones el día sábado, a hongyadong está en frente, liziba a unas pocas estaciones del metro, sobre esa misma línea llegas al zoológico y si eres drama llover pues también al famoso restaurante de fideos, templos, zona con muchos comercios y sin miedo a los callejones, ahí encontrarás lugares únicos de comida, uff no te alcanzará el tiempo. La habitación es limpia y limpia, el servicio de la recepción es bueno, la comida cercana es muy conveniente, la economía de precios es práctica

La primera noche no pude dormir bien por el ruido de los vecinos de enfrente. Al día siguiente, como la ubicación era tan buena, decidí quedarme una noche más. Cuando mencioné el ruido al pagar en recepción, amablemente me cambiaron a una habitación superior de inmediato. Además, como tuve problemas con la reserva, el dueño me ayudó personalmente a través de la aplicación. La habitación superior tenía vista al Palacio Imperial, así que dormí muy bien al día siguiente sin ningún ruido. La habitación también estaba muy limpia. La habitación de la noche anterior también estaba limpia, pero los vecinos estaban bebiendo afuera. Quizás estaba un poco sensible porque estaba cansado... jaja. También hay una lavandería. Como salí a comer hasta el amanecer, me sentí cómodo quedándome aquí sin sentirme incómodo. Al final, me quedé tres noches; fui caminando al Palacio Imperial y para otros lugares usé Didi porque era fácil conseguir un taxi ya que el hotel está ubicado en la calle principal. Hay restaurantes y tiendas de conveniencia cerca, así que es muy práctico.
