"El mejor gestor de hoteles que hayas tenido, gracias Lucia por cuidarnos tan bien. Nada fue demasiado problema. Es un hotel de plantación tranquilo en la isla más estupenda de Príncipe. Las habitaciones están decoradas y bien equipadas. La habitación del edificio principal era fantástica, las vistas son espectaculares. El Museo es uno de los mejores y muy valiosos visitantes, cerca de Europa en un paraíso tropical, un lugar perfecto para tener algunas R&R."

"The Principe Collection's Bom Bom Resort was a highlight of my visit to Sao Tome and Principe. The resort has bungalows on the beach overlooking a beautiful cove with golden sand and lush jungle framing the blue ocean waters. It's warm and clear, and perfect for swimming (at least at this time of year in June). There is a nice pool area and bar too, and the dining room overlooks ANOTHER beach with plenty of open space and lush jungle up to the water. The staff is warm and friendly, the food is excellent (the weekly barbeque was my favorite highlight) and the bungalows comfortable and air-conditioned. I would definitely recommend this resort if you like the beach--the other properties (Belo Monte, Sundy Praia) are beautiful too, but the proximity to the sand and water at Bom Bom is what sold me!"

"We stayed at Sandy Praia over Christmas 2024. On the plus side the location and environment around Sunday is lovely. They have all the makings of an excellent secluded resort. Unfortunately the execution of the experience is far below par for this price and the difficulty encountered to get to this resort. I would suggest going to Belo Monte if you are going to Principle island. - We had confirmed prior to booking and arrival that we would have a quiet room. But we were allocated a room that was directly beside the pool and bar (Room 3). As it was Christmas there were no other rooms available and too bad for us. We couldn't really enjoy our space as we had people walking past our beach space every 5 minutes, could hear children screaming in the pool and the music from the bar into the evening. It completely ruined our hopes of a relaxing secluded holiday. This is totally unacceptable and not what you would expect from a properly managed property. - The staff are friendly and trying their best. However, what I can only assume is a lack of proper training, they fail to give you the service you would expect for a resort of this nature. English is an issue and simple requests go unanswered. Service is slow for all meals. You are made to wait for breakfast to start, tour guides are late and you are constantly in search of water. Very poor at this price point. - We booked massages and on the day they had disappeared from the diary so we were made to wait. When we did get massages they had screwed up someone else's booking who was knocking on the door throughout. Not very relaxing or professional. - As it was Christmas we paid a large supplement for our dinner on Christmas Eve. This was early our worst meal of the trip with dry steak, long wait times and limited drink options. Not what I expected for an extra 120 euros per person. So int he end, unfortunately our hopes of a relaxing holiday were dashed by poor communication by the manager Paolo, unmet expectations and lack of execution for even the simplest of tasks. We wouldn't go back."

"This accommodation is rated well on Booking, which is why we decided to book it. As there was no option for a triple room, which was what we wanted, we contacted the accommodation directly. The owner confirmed that there was a triple room and we made the reservation. We were told that breakfast was not included, so it would be charged separately at €10/person. The owner asked us if we needed a transfer, so I asked several times how much it would cost or if it was a courtesy of the house. As we did not get an answer, and at the last minute, we asked for the transfer, for which we were charged €20 (for a distance of 5km). When we arrived at the accommodation, the owner wanted to charge us the amount including breakfast, even though we had not confirmed that we wanted it. The room we were given was on the ground floor and smelled unbearably of mold. The bathroom was tiny and unreal in terms of layout. We stayed for 3 nights and there was no cleaning on any of the days."

"El hotel está en una zona de 4 estrellas y tiene una ubicación ideal para el hotel. Las habitaciones son amplias, luxuosas y decoradas con una terraza adyacente, con un bonus adicional. En la playa, encontramos plataformas cubiertas, cada una con 2 camas de salón, de las cuales podíamos disfrutar de la vista de las aguas azules y la playa de arena blanca sin cuchara delante de nosotros. "Las instalaciones del hotel están muy bien, limpieza absoluta, situación fantástica pero… En la web preguntan las intolerancias alimentarias, NO HACEN NI CASO, en mi familia hay 2 personas celíacas, No hay nada sin gluten. Ayer mismo fuimos al hotel Sundy Praia a comer y lo peor es que la chica del hotel bom bom que estaba por la mañana, se olvidó de nosotros , no programó el transfer para ir y de vuelta no había programado el transfer, nos tuvieron 1,5 horas esperando a que alguien dijera nada , con la consecuente desesperación del recepcionista del S.praia Esta misma mañana, no tenían fruta, solo cuatro trozos de sandía, excusa de que cuesta encontrar fruta Por las noches hacen un menú, con solo dos platos a escoger y siempre sobre lo mismo, la gente viendo de vacaciones y quiere , necesita más variedad Hablamos con varias personas del staff, una en concreto que no diré el nombre, para que lo digan nada, que nos reconoció que hay muchas quejas por parte de los clientes , de la comida El director del hotel, no está para nada preparado, unas previsiones de compra de alimentación nefastas, tampoco los ayudan. Intente contactar y espero que me responda el Sr. Egbert Bloemsma CEO de la compañía. Otro punto, nadie habla ningún idioma, solo portugués, por lo que los ingleses y alemanes están desesperados Busquen otro destino, el mundo es fantástico y con sitios geniales"

"We only stayed here for one night, but that was enough. The complex is beautifully located in the jungle by the beach and the tent villa was very large and luxurious, but unfortunately there are also various shortcomings that such an expensive luxury accommodation should not have. Quite a few families with children stay there, so it's not really quiet. The ways within the complex are relatively long. For example, we had to walk about 10 minutes from our tent villa to the restaurant. If you're not very mobile, this complex is not suitable. The food was nothing special. At the other HBD resorts, such as Bom Bom Island or Roca Sundy, there were always two dishes to choose from for dinner. This was the case for the starter, main course and dessert. Here, there was only one menu. Drinks are included in the price of the accommodation, but only the cheap ones. For example, a cocktail at the bar costs extra. The worst thing we noticed was that other people had bed bugs. We saw the bites ourselves. The management told people not to tell anyone else. People were then moved to Roca Sundy and Bom Bom Island Resort due to lack of space. In other words, the management wants to cover up such things. All in all, the resort is overpriced and does not offer good value for money. Therefore, we will not be staying there again in the future."

"Este alojamiento está en Booking con buena cotización, por eso elegimos realizar la reserva. Como no había opción de habitación triple, que era lo que queríamos, contactamos directamente con el alojamiento. El propietario confirmó que había una habitación triple y realizamos la reserva. Nos dijeron que el desayuno no estaba incluido, por lo que nos cobrarían un extra de 10€/persona. El dueño nos preguntó si necesitábamos un traslado, por lo que le pregunté varias veces cuál sería el costo o si era cortesía de la casa. Al no recibir respuesta, y en el último momento, solicitamos un traslado, por lo que nos cobraron 20€ (por un recorrido de 5km). Cuando llegamos al alojamiento, el propietario quiso cobrarnos el precio con el desayuno, aunque no habíamos confirmado que lo queríamos. La habitación que nos asignaron estaba en la planta baja y olía insoportablemente a humedad. El baño era pequeño y surrealista en términos de distribución. Nos alojamos 3 noches y no tuvimos limpieza en ninguno de los días."
