"I return for the pools, which they cleverly keep open until 11 pm, and if it's crowded, even later. The hotel is typical Abano style: dated furnishings, carpeting, and lots of unused space. Extremely clean and quiet, with plenty of parking and lots of greenery. The floor waitress was excellent, super professional, quiet, precise, and very polite. The weak point is the restaurant. The maître d' pestered me for three days because the front desk hadn't told him we wanted to stay for lunch and not dinner, which he absolutely didn't like. So he moved us three times, asking us ten times why the management didn't have the lunch reservations for our room. I wonder... what's the problem? You have 200 tables, give me a permanent one for three days and avoid arguments with the guest. I think if someone is tired of working, they should accept the idea of retirement. Besides the inhospitable welcome, the food isn't good at all. The slice of meat was incredibly tough and streaked with fat, and the cheese and pear ravioli were sticky and sweet. Next time, no lunch or dinner, not even breakfast, which is truly shameful. There's not even a fresh croissant and very little fruit! As for the beauty salon, I think the non-physiotherapeutic massages aren't worth the price compared to the benefits. The hairdresser is incredibly expensive; consider a long, elaborate blow-dry: €50, even though the hairdresser is very professional and courteous. In truth, I already knew the blow-dry wouldn't last because they didn't have a small straightener. I'd gone to get mine by car, as arranged with the hairdresser, but I didn't know where they'd parked it. When I returned to the salon, a secretary, Sonia, arrived and told me that since I was ten minutes late, they couldn't do my hair, due to "my serious delay." If the hairdresser hadn't intervened, I definitely would have left. I wonder, but before you kick out clients who've left you €500 in 48 hours? Do you know what you're talking about? No? Avoid being mistreated at the Wellness Center; go get a massage and mud bath, they're very kind."
