The view and lighting of the Velux sloping roof window are good, it is a very good experience. The only problem is the location of the bathroom cabinet. Because of the height of the sloping roof against the wall, you will hit your head when brushing your teeth and washing your face, and tall people need to squat."

The room was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room was quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel itself was well maintained and had a pleasant atmosphere. I also appreciated the convenient location, which made it easy to get around. Although my stay was only for one night, it was a very positive experience. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay"

"Everything was fine until the fire alarm went off at 5am this morning. The hotel evacuated and most people left out on the front freezing. Staff running around saying they didn’t know how to turn it off and that they were “new”. Concerningly staff weren’t challenging people who were frustrated and returning to their rooms as 45 minutes later the fire alarm was still going off. The fire service turned up to try and turn off the fire alarm system. Everyone returned to their rooms at 6am - 1 hour later. Very difficult to go back to sleep at this point. Worst fire protocol I’ve ever seen which raises huge safety concerns. Rumour has it at breakfast it was due to someone smoking in their room. Surely this isn’t the first time such a thing has happened. Residents safety put at considerable risk. A complete waste of £450 for the 4 rooms I booked. Won’t be staying again."

"we stayed in a club room, which came with gym and pool access - the facilities are good and the gym is fully equipped. The ladies serving breakfast are very friendly especially young Asian girl and there are veg options available. Nature reserve only 10 mins walk from the hotel - highly recommend. The room itself had issues with wifi and tv signal. I logged a complaint on their app but nobody came so the next day I had to go to reception again. They didn’t give me a solution like moving room for a better wifi. Club Rooms don’t have a fridge or a telephone so you have to send messages via chat which is annoying."

"I returned to my home town as a child . I was going to May Hall Theatre to see Rock of ages the musical . I decided to stay over at the local Hotel . Nice clean and friendly . The staff were pleasant and the venue was very clean . I was welcomed and allowed to my room as it was ready . I have only one irritation as it was Bank Holiday . No Restaurant, no bar, no Breakfast available. Was not aware of this when I booked but I guess I survived as ASDA was around the corner . Loved the room and it was quite . I’d of given a 5 ⭐️ if the bar and Restaurant were available . Thank you though for a very comfortable stay , I will return ."
