"Don't know why the hotel or Trip has used the photo of a castle as the front page advert. The castle is not even close by. On the other hand, the Trip advert as well as the booking verification have given the dimension of a 3 m wide king size bed, which is another faw. I was educated by the staff what really was a uk king size bed, 5 feet wide! In the toilet, exhausted fan didn't work, low pressure shower with super slow drainage, had to stop midway to avoid flooding. TV in the room showed no picture despite calling for service. Paying extra for a buffet breakfast, which was served in a small room with very ordinary food. Much regret on paying more on the brand. Should have gone for cheaper stay nearby."

"Good location- easy to find and close to the train station. We drove so used the car park in front of the hotel where there is a discount for staying at the hotel just let reception know you are parked there - is a set fee for 24hrs. Rooms were clean and quite basic but sufficient for what we needed - downside no fridge to chill your drinks. There is a kettle to make hot drinks and room has tv which is good. Ordered the breakfast which was lovely - options to have cereal, fruit,yoghurt,toast,pastries and a full English with coffee/tea and juice. Restaurant overlooks the river which was nice as we could see the ducks and swans Hotel has a bar which was nice to have a few drinks in the evening when we arrived Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - would definitely go back if we needed to stay in Nottingham again Price was good value for money!"

Las ventanas son de buena calidad pero están muy mal instaladas, es inconcebible, el marco no está bien anclado a las paredes y se cimbrea TODO el conjunto de la ventana. Hay rendijas entre marco y pared y también entre ventana y marco, con lo que duermes con todo el ruido y frío de la calle."

"The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff-team, and the cleanliness of our room and the hotel facilities stood out for us. The hotel was everything we needed for a short stay and well priced for its standard. The downstairs public areas have been nicely refurbed with a modern touch. The staircase to the bedrooms is narrow and would benefit from a refresh of the grey paint and grey carpet. The grey theme continues upstairs where the layout is quirky with narrow corridors and would benefit from a refreshed lighter look. Our Superior room was nicely prepared but had a curiously large empty space and a TV therefore too far away to watch from the bed. It would benefit from some comfy chairs and a coffee table. There was a rickety clothes rail instead of a wardrobe (the wardrobe alcove had lost its rail). Being at the front there was a degree of traffic noise. We’d stay again but ask for a basic room on the side of the building. There is car parking at the back, about 8 -10 spaces, accessed easily by turning left after the hotel, first left and left again, to come back down a one way street. I don’t know if it has CCTV but we experienced no problems. Breakfast is not their thing, a basic cooked meal (no choice/options) provided on request, but does the job, unless you have special requirements like GF foods."
