Hoteles con vistas a la montaña en Yufu

This must be the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in Japan. It is a traditional Ryokan with 3 Private Onsen available for reservation upon arrival. The scenery and ambience around the hotel were peaceful & very gorgeous. The mountain view from our room was fantastic. Besides, it took less than 10 mins walking distance to the famous Kinrik Lake! 😌🎐 Each guest could pick a 👘 for free too. The services was great and the staffs were attentive too. We stored all our biggest luggages at Yufuin Station and only brought along light luggage because it is far away from station. Gentle reminder for the guest to book a taxi at least one day earlier before your departure. By the way, it was a lucky morning when it started to snow during our ryokan checked out! It made the Ryokan looked even more amazing! ❄️ The only regret was breakfast and dinner were both unavailable during reservation and there is no ryokan contact was available before arrival. It would be 100% if I were to taste the すきやき, Sukiyaki! 🥩🍲

We checked in on 15 Jan, 2026 and planned to stay at the hotel for a nite. When we arrived the railway station , we walked around for a while and got a taxi outside the railway station to the hotel without paying the fare. Probably the hotel had arranged with the taxi drivers in that area that they will pay the fare directly. The check-in procedure is easy and comfy. 2 staff lead us to our room 小樓球。It’s a very nice room with 2 private onsen. The spring water is nice and made our skin very smooth. The hotel had arranged enough drinks for us, 3 alcoholic and 3 nonalcoholic. We had our dinner at ard 7pm. The presentation of the good is very good & eye catching. However, the quality of the sashimi was not very fresh. Taste of the tuna was a bit fishy and it’s wet and found bloody water after picked it up from the dish😓. I don’t eat beef and the hotel changed the 5 pcs of wagu to 3pcs of eel which didn’t taste very well. Not sure whether they grill it or not. Also they changed the beef that served with rice to miso and I didn’t think it’s fair enough. The breakfast on the next morning was up to standard. Bread was fresh and hot. Egg and sausage were quite good. Overall, service is good but the standard of dinner made me disappointed as I had informed the hotel at least one week before check-in and I think they have ample of time to adjust the menu for me. I’ve been to some other hotspring hotels with same request of not eating beef. They had changed my menu to chicken, pork or seafood like fish or shrimp and provide the equivalent size of meat for replacement.

Me alojé en el Ryokan Enokiya y tuve una experiencia muy agradable y relajante. Está un poco lejos de la estación de Yufuin, pero un taxi es fácil y económico, así que no supuso ningún problema. La ubicación también es excelente, a pocos pasos del Pueblo Floral de Yufuin y de la calle principal de tiendas. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. Cabe destacar que no hay ducha en la habitación, solo lavabo e inodoro, pero se puede duchar en el onsen y no resultó para nada incómodo. El onsen es privado y se puede reservar a través de su aplicación, lo cual me gustó mucho. Cené en el ryokan. Es un poco caro, pero no excesivo, y el menú omakase estaba realmente delicioso. El desayuno también estaba muy bien preparado con ingredientes locales. El personal habla inglés, lo que facilitó mucho las cosas. En resumen, una estancia muy agradable. Sin duda, recomiendo reservar la cena.

La estación de techo está muy lejos, tiene que viajar para llegar, el hotel ofrecerá transporte y la estación puede llamarlos. La habitación es un poco descabellada, pero limpia, y tiene un calentador privado al aire libre, y los tipos de reserva incluyen el calentador familiar, pero no hay nada especial. El desayuno es muy rico y los empleados se van a dormir en la habitación durante la cena. Finalmente, el personal es muy amable, la experiencia es buena 👍

What a blast I had here!!! I only stayed for one night and now I wish I had stayed longer. It was a Friday so Rio, the owner, organizes a night of games at the public gymnasium for teenagers (who although growing up already have the strength of super-powered samurais) and whoever else wants to participate. I haven't run and wake up with so many bruises since high school! It was really cool how everyone is quick to set the props for each game, we played 4 or 5 games in one hour!!!! It felt like a much longer time, everyone gave their best presence and participation all the time! It seems the other nights he takes everyone for a walk to see the stars, and Tuesdays there's also volleyball. Anyways, he is pretty proactive and creative , so I'm sure there's many variations and possibilities! The living room is very pretty, the sofas super comfortable and the view gorgeous! The bed was very hard :/ this was the only big issue for me. The onsen is so cozy, the water super smooth and instrumental music playing. Delicious! The conditioner smells great! I was a bit worried that they had too many rules, because when I contacted they informed about the need to leave the house everyday from 10 until 16. And that the eating time was very specific: 7:20 in the morning and 7 at night... So I was worried they would be too strict...but there's no need to join the food. I had breakfast and it felt like it would be at the communal dinning of beauxbatons, everyone sitting closeby with identical very beautifully presented meals that come in many quantity but small portions. It is not my jam, but for sure it is special! Some informations could be a bit more clear because they are a bit slow responding. For example they have a pick up time in front of the army at 6pm. I asked info for an amazing lady at the Art Center inside the station, Chika, and she called them. She ended up taking me herself and was the best company I could have found! She is an artist, we went to the supermarket and had great conversation! I recommend going to the art center to say hi to Chika! Lots of love, thank youuu Mountain Mamas!!!

Reservé Yufuin en Hoshino Resorts con mucha anticipación. La ubicación es perfecta. Comuníquese con el hotel con anticipación y ellos organizarán un automóvil especial para que lo recoja en la estación de tren. Debe tomar el Yufuin Mori a esta ciudad de cuento de hadas. Es realmente fácil de visitar. Puedes viajar al mundo de la animación de Hayao Miyazaki en un segundo. El hotel está situado en una montaña. Las aguas termales en las montañas y los bosques están muy limpias. Fui a remojarme por la mañana. Fue un placer reservar el lugar para mí. También había un suministro ilimitado de helado, café y té. Me sorprendió que hubiera barbacoa. La cena estuvo exquisita y deliciosa. Todo fue perfecto.

Reservamos una habitación con baño privado y media pensión. El paquete nos pareció un poco caro, ¡pero creemos que vale la pena! El onsen privado es muy agradable, con piscinas interiores y exteriores. La cena y el desayuno están bastante bien. El personal habla inglés y nos facilitó la comunicación. En general, tuvimos una estancia muy agradable. ❤️

Located near the beginning of Yufuin street where you can find all the restaurants. Rooms, lobby, public bath are.quite large in size, slightly jaded look (social distancing stickers still on lobby floor and lift, hotel staff should quickly remove) enough parking on site. Easy to walk about. Umbrellas available for loan. Opposite the hotel is a laundrymart. Family mart and 7-11 available in Yufuin main street areas.

Because we are international travellers we came with bigger luggage so it is hard to carry them up 3 floors without lift. The hotel make sure all has a chance to make a booking for a private onsen. There is also a time slot that is public so I get to use the onsen 2x which I really like. Location is near station which makes it easy to travel. There were many Dos and don’t conveyed during check in.

The accommodation is beautiful, the surrounding atmosphere is good, and there is an onsen hot spring to soak in. The food is delicious. **But what I am not very impressed with is the control of other service providers. Mostly, 99% on the day I stayed were Koreans who were not very polite. They did not know even the etiquette and rules of using the public hot spring. I am not sure if the owner of the accommodation has informed the rules of using the hot spring, which is something I cannot accept. They were loud, threw the earbuds on the floor, and were not orderly. They also wore shoes in the common area of the dressing room in the hot spring. I was very disappointed. It was a rather disappointing vacation, even though it should have been a good day for me. I lost the mood to soak in the atmosphere. I did not even have the heart to take pictures of the atmosphere with the accommodation.
