"The rooms (only four) are small but welcoming. Each room is also very simple: Mathiveri is a local island so forget about the stereotype of resort and luxory, but the structure is cleaned and you will have all you need to stay confortable and enjoy your vacation. But, what more than everything else made our stay really great was Powan, the guy who is in charge of the guesthouse management. He’s so kind and willing, always trying to help you enjoy your days. Last but not least, we really suggest to take advantage of the to partnership that the guesthouse is offering: the first one is with, we think, the best restaurant in the island: Irube Cafè. The second one is with PADI, one of the excursions centres of Mathiveri. Very recommended!"

"And the best guesthouse of Mathiver, beautiful, clean, very good food, and excellent location (10 meters from Bikini Beach). Any request is satisfied by all the staff, which is always super nice and available. I had a problem with my cell phone and the owner resolved the problem in one day. Without his help, I would have had the phone out of use for all the holidays. I loved Zaahee, a young local boy, a great worker, always smiling and super nice, always smiling and super nice, that together with Anees, The Nepal Chef is always ready to share with a smile the curiosities of the local lifestyle of the tour tourist. I felt welcome and cocktailed by this great family and I advise everyone. Thank you very much, boys, you helped make my holiday perfect!"

"We stayed a week at Vacanze Mathiveri and had a wonderful time. The guesthouse is simple but welcoming, with a standard breakfast that satisfied us every day. The value for-money is truly excellent, especially considering the location and the services offered. A special thanks goes to the staff, always professional and friendly, ready to assist us with any need. A heartfelt thanks to Rif'ath, who carefully organized all our excursions and fulfilled our every request, making our holiday even more special."

"This review is for the hotels restaurant. The food and table service at this restaurant were absolutely fine. The reason for my low rating is because even though smoking in restaurants in The Maldives is prohibited, this restaurant allowed a customer to smoke whilst I was eating my meal. What made it worse is that they have a no smoking sign in the restaurant and the person smoking was sat literally one metre in front of it. I did raise this with staff and they said it didn't matter because the restaurant was outside. However as stated, smoking is prohibited in restaurants and the man was smoking in the restaurant within a metre of the no smoking sign. I would not return to this restaurant purely based on the fact that they do not abide by the laws, have no care for their non smoking customers and ignore their own rules (allowing a customer to smoke next to a no smoking sign)."
