"This place though not very fancy is very welcoming. The place is run by a small staff but they accomodate most of your demands. The rooms are well appointed except the washrooms which could have been a bit more spacious. The hotel lacks an elevator and for some it might be a deal breaker. The hotel has a heated pool and the same is well maintained. Food options are limited but well made and cooked to your taste. Overall I will say it's a cozy place which places the guest first."

"El personal es increíble. Siempre responden rápidamente a las solicitudes. El aire acondicionado fue muy bienvenido a pesar de las inusualmente altas temperaturas. Una noche olía mal en nuestra habitación. Al día siguiente nos cambiaron a una habitación muy agradable. La piscina es muy bonita, pero el césped artificial se vería mejor y sería más cómodo. Además, no se quemaría con el sol ni con los químicos de la piscina. El restaurante tiene una vista hermosa. El personal es muy eficiente y agradable, y la comida es excelente. ¡Qué lástima que esté cerrado los fines de semana! La mejor sorpresa fue al hacer el check out, cuando nos informaron que no debíamos pagar nada por el olor de la habitación, ¡aunque ni siquiera lo habíamos pedido! Aunque está ubicado al principio de la zona industrial, está a solo 5 minutos en coche del centro de la ciudad. Merece la pena y recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel boutique en Martigues."

"Nicely refurbished hotel with a pool a short drive up the hill from Martigues with a forest behind it you could walk or run in. The staff / proprietor were welcoming and friendly and took time to chat to me and answer questions I had or recommend things to do or see either in or around Martigues. It had a feeling of being quiet and just enough out of the way to be private and not overly busy (I went at the beginning of August). My room was large (one of the larger hotel rooms I have stayed in) and had its own kitchenette with a hob, sink and fridge - Ideal if you like cooking while on holiday (not me, I prefer eating out) or storing bottles of water in the cool. The bed was comfortable. There was a smart TV which I didn't use (nice touch for those who watch TV while on holiday, which is not me), the bathroom was just the right size. The pool area was tastefully designed and decorated. Great to have a private pool to chill out in and around listening to the cicadas. It was very good quality for a reasonable price."
