Más que una agradable sorpresa, recepción de relajación con invitados y un hermoso 2 habitaciones. En una bebida en la terraza en la piscina Decidimos comer en el restaurante donde el precio/la calidad era muy buena. En resumen, dormir y comer encantador. Un consejo para salir del camino y permanecer aquí"

"Excelente recepción, muy caliente con visita y explicaciones del lugar. Muy tranquilo y tranquilo. Habitaciones espaciosas, limpias. Comida en función de las convives que se oyeron para una comida única, con la elección de especias para no fresar las papillas según el gusto de cada uno. Aunque cada uno tiene una mesa, hemos decidido compartir la mesa con los demás clientes con los que nos encantaba un vaso en el salón de lectura. Recomendamos este lugar y seguro que volveremos a gustar la piscina que nos hizo los ojos, pero la lluvia nos detuvo."

Chateau Olmet

"We stayed with Eric and Steve from July 29th to 8th August 2025. The accommodation is stunning - a beautiful chateau perched on a hill near Lodeve, with extraordinary views across the mountains. The attention to detail - both inside the chateau and within the grounds is wonderful. We particularly loved the minimal approach to decor - which allows the building and views to shine, the comfortable bed, the regular linen/towel changes and the lovely breakfasts of fresh bread, croissants, fruit and yogurt. Eric and Steve were very knowledgeable about the area and able to make very good recommendations for places to visit and to eat. The Herault region does not disappoint - with the Garrigues, gorges, access to the coast and night markets at towns like Pezenas. Lodeve itself has a fabulous museum and a food market that feels totally authentic - where some have become overly touristy. Foodie highlights were lunch at le Chat Perche in La Couvertoirade (meat prepared over a charcoal fire) and wonderful oysters in Bouzigues on the lagoon. We also enjoyed supper prepared by a local chef at the chateau itself, which made for a tranquil and special experience - with a lovely bottle of rose from Eric's selection of local wines. "This is a grotty hotel! There was no hot water on arrival nor the morning of departure (reception were informed). The reception area is like a public toilet, the lift doors looked liked they’d been urinated up. The hotel looks like it’s not been decorated for 20 years. Odd useless pillows but mattress was ok. Lighting in the small toilet was useless like other guests have mentioned! How on earth has it received good reviews? It’s disgusting, we should have left immediately and then we wouldn’t have left with sore throats the next day from whatever the bedroom floor had been cleaned with!"
