"Structure located in a strategic position, but very dated inside. Dirty rooms, cleaning is done roughly. For example, the windowsill had at least 2 fingers of dust and was never swept to the floor. Breakfast is to forget. A real disaster! It's a real shame because it has a very high potential"

"SO much potential but quite dissapoiting.. The property is lovely but the hotel smells and is musty and prob moldy. The food is only fair and certainly not as good as il pelicano. The wine sommelier is quite rude and arrogant, and the list is very over priced. (BTW we were also a bit shocked that the bar charged 30 euros for a soda) The hotel pool is indoors. The rooms are small and the towels were rough. There is no elevator and we were asked to walk up several flights of long stairs . A mistake was made on the bill. Obviously the hotel was once special but we found the service to be lacking, and overall the property to be very expensive with few redeeming factors other then the superb view and the proximity to the Rome airport"

"Due to strikes and road construction in Italy, I contacted the hotel by phone and was told I could check in after 10 AM. They said someone would open the door for me. After driving for ages to the hotel and ringing the doorbell, even though someone was clearly loitering on the second floor, the front desk deliberately refused to open the door. I don't know if it was racial discrimination, but I was stuck there for a long time without anyone paying attention to me. The streets outside the hotel were dark and scary, with *********** and homeless people walking around. Given Italy's terrible security situation, I strongly advise against Chinese people staying at this hotel. This hotel is also very unreasonable; it doesn't have a 24-hour front desk, so guests can't get help if something happens. Fortunately, Ctrip customer service helped me get my complaint resolved."
