"Really a disappointment. It feels like they are struggling financially. The rooms and common areas feel run down and undercapitalized. It's a shame because the property has a tremendous history (which they do nothing to tell one about it), and oceanfront location with nice gardens. The service is ok, the food much less than one would expect for a Small Luxury Hotel. The website is much better than the in person experience."

"Structure located in a strategic position, but very dated inside. Dirty rooms, cleaning is done roughly. For example, the windowsill had at least 2 fingers of dust and was never swept to the floor. Breakfast is to forget. A real disaster! It's a real shame because it has a very high potential"

"We basically the hotel is clean and well guarded, but my sad experience was when there was no bin bucket in my room and i went to the management and informed them and they promised me that the following day it will be sorted, but this never happened till i left. Another sad experience was the cleaners or should i say the room service guys never cared change changed my bedsheets until 6days after.but aside this two things,everything was awesome ."

"This hotel is not cheap, but it is a wonderful place to relax. Just sitting on the seaside terrace and looking at the sea is about the most calming thing you can imagine. The ambience is wonderful and elegant. There are many items of furniture and decor that you might find in a museum. When you stay here, it really feels like you are guests in a well kept noble estate from another century. The bar is wonderful and open very late. When we were there, there was even a pianist nearby playing lovely pieces by Chopin. The in-house restaurant is top quality, and the morning breakfast is the best I have seen anywhere in Italy. We got one of the cheaper rooms, but it was very well appointed, and we had a lovely time. We were only here a single night, and wish we could have had another day or two. Due to its proximity to Fiumicino airport, we will definitely consider it next time we fly through Rome."

"Todo bien, junto a la playa y siendo Italia, todo bien. Por poner un pero y no es al hotel, es lo complicado que puede resultar ir en transporte público desde esta localidad al aeropuerto de Fiumicino situado a poca distancia, pero sin comunicación directa que te obliga a ir hasta Roma pasando casi por al lado del aeropuerto para luego volver desde Roma al aeropuerto. Cosas de la administración italiana para castigar a los turistas que por lo visto hay que exprimir hasta la ultima gota."

"I came here because I missed a flight. The area is so quiet and a few strides away from the sea where I had a lovely swim. It’s not cheap but you are paying for the location. The rooms are lovely and the staff are kind and attentive. However, I stood waiting for dinner and I was ignored. I was repeatedly asked if I was alone. They took time finding a table for me because the tables seated more than 1. I left it and went to a restaurant by the beach."
