"A lovely stay a Erika's. It was clean and comfortable in a great location for local restaurants, shops and cable car stations. The staff were attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The only negative was the cost of the carpark which we accept as necessary for the location."

"Location - a 5-10 min walk to shops/restaurants/main lifts (we kept our skis in the locker room at Hahnenkamm Lift Intersport for ease). Good choice of central restaurants and bars. Gamshof is family run and full of character and charm. Welcoming, efficient staff, small reasonably priced bar with seating - great place to meet other like-minded guests. Lovely buffet style breakfast, afternoon Goulash soup. Pleasant, clean, modern rooms."

"The service was great, with the continuous telephone customer service that could be used to address emerging questions or problems directly. The location is also excellent in the center of Kitzbühel. This allowed us to walk to the gondol to ski. In the evening we were in the city center within 5 minutes to make the evening screen. "we stay in 3 bhk shailey for 3 nights it was good very nice view but hotel management dealing was not good we used there kitchen & get some spot on floor for which they make bill of 3000 euro & than finally charge 500 euro which was very wrong so experience with top team was not good so i suggest to all to be aware of all these type things hotel management can charge anything only one planc of floor wood they can make bill of 3000 euro & settle @500 this dealing spoil our mood so be careful overall prop[erty is good"

"Very helpful and easygoing staff. Great location on the slopes. Due to the Covid situation all protective measures were in place. We felt safe. The hotel has all facilities and services for a ski resort. Very good restaurant with very tasty food. Because of that and because of the personnel, we decided several evenings not to go outside. Ski rental, ski pass, arranged by the hotel. From the bed, via breakfast, straight to slop - perfect conditions."

"Looking at previous comments I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I needn’t have worried, I can only think some have been reviewing a different hotel. We arrived late (8.30pm). There was a very warm reception from members of the family run hotel. Instead of a cold salad we would normally expect, we were told not to hurry, but get to restaurant when ready for a fully cooked meal. The food food continued to be excellent all week. At breakfast we had a good choice of cereal, fresh fruit salad or whole fruits. Good selection of breads and continental. Also scrambled egg, sausages and bacon each morning. Always friendly attentive service. We would have to choose one main out of three for the evening, as part of a 5 course meal. Again always excellent. Great vegetarian options and lovely meat dishes. Mainly local pork and beef recipes. We had a great bedroom. Loads of room with plenty of storage, balcony, small table and chairs. Bath with shower. Everything worked well and really clean. Room cleaned every day by smiling happy staff. The other 2 rooms used by others in our party were equally good. (All 1st floor standard rooms, so not sure about others above). If you must find something to whinge about, the bathroom was slightly dated. 90’s possibly. However it was beautifully decorated, very clean, well presented and fully functional. I’d rather it was not ripped out with all the wastage for the sake of a brand new. The wellness area was superb (mainly Dutch who love wandering around without a stitch on). However, no one complained about us Brits turning up in swimming trunks (you are meant to sit on a towel in the saunas). Several different (very large) saunas, steam room and a warm room. Also a lovely large clean modern pool and bubble tub area. Pool was not as warm as I would like (bath temp for me!) However perfect for swimming lengths. Bus stops right in car park for Fleckalmbahn lift (best lift up). Buses run to the minute, every 30-45 mins and it takes about 5-10 mins to the lift. Hotel runs a minibus to the Kitzbuhle lift 8-9 am and 4-5pm. All very straightforward with almost no walking. So a fantastic family owned hotel. Several of the family work there, and all other staff were great. Fab weeks stay, and I think outstanding value. Looking forward to return."

"Just back from a week in the hotel and wound highly recommend it. Very welcoming and helpful staff at all times. Lovely spacious bedroom and bathroom. Housekeeping was great every day. The pool and sauna area was so relaxing. Nice bar though some of the staff need more training. Also long wait times despite many staff behind the bar!! Ate in the a la carte restaurant one night snd the meal was faultless. Really centrally located and just 5 minute walk from the gondola. Overall a great experience and I would definitely go back!"

Patricia Reisinger, the general manager, and her team have looked after us in a way most hotels can only dream of. A heartfelt thank you to Patricia and her team for looking after us so beautifully and make me fall in love in love with Kitzbühel once again. Also a special shout-out to Valentina, who was charm personified and guided us daily to all the wonderful opportunities the hotel and Kitzbühel have to offer."
