"I had a few surprises while a guest for 1.5 months. One day “off” from work, I offered coaching to the barista Aime and Bar Manger. Coffee unites people all over the world, and this trip to Kigali was no exception. We pulled shots of espresso, tweaked barista techniques up a few notches, and shared drink prep. A very fun time was had by all. Days later to my surprise my room was full on decorated with a lovely wine and rose petals. How cool. I felt like I was in the honeymoon suite (except my husband was not with me ). The generous sized room was spotless thanks to the Housekeeping. The huge bed was comfortable. Sliding doors opened for fresh air and plenty of light. Probably the most impressive was the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. True expression of hospitality. The restaurant with an open design was welcoming with popular outside tables. Food was diverse, albeit slow at times. Breakfast buffet with fresh juices and delicious Rwanda coffee. I hope to stay again."

"I thought our stay here was perfectly fine. Our room had a living room and walk-out patio on the first floor, the AC and hot water worked fine. Our group had dinner at the hotel one night and the meals seemed satisfactory in general, certainly no worse than the restaurants we visited nearby. I went to the bar a few times and the service was always fast and friendly. The breakfast buffet is small but adequate. The neighborhood is nice, although walkability depends on your ability to handle steep hills. "
