"This place was not what we were expecting at all. It is a self check-in and you get your codes the day prior to arriving. Check in was easy. The car parking behind security remote gates was limited and it is first come first serve basis and because it is quite narrow people park their cars crooked taking up 2 spaces. There is no hotel now as the police officer we met trying to find it told us it has closed and is now a "Coffee Club" franchise. It is just accommodation so not sure why their website states karaoke and food. I was more angry at the $195 per night i was charged for a "Deluxe" Semi self contained Room for what we got. The room although dated especially the bathroom was just ok. Beds were comfortable and linen clean. The "kitchenette" as such, had the plates, glasses and bowls just sitting in a dish rack on the bench, no tea towels or dishcloths to wash up and they were all dirty. Some plates and glassware still had food and wine marks still on them. Certainly not enough tableware for 2 people, we had 1 bowl between the 2 of us but 4 plates. Lucky i had bought my own plastic ware so opted to use it instead. The only good thing about this place was the pool which was lovely. We walked 5 mins to the local RSL club for dinner which was lovely and cheap. We felt safe walking at night but kept our witts about us like anywhere i suppose. The tv was poor and we had to try and plug in HDMI cable ourselves from previous customers. To sum up our 2 night stay i would suggest to stay elsewhere as there is much much better places to choose from. I have attached 1 photo of the pool area as i didn't want to be reminded of our stay here"

"Stayed here for three nights The staff were very polite and professional very helpful. The room had more than needed for a motel, full size fridge big tv Netflix. Even had a two plate stove top kettle toaster. Nice big bed and big shower. Parking outside your door with very secure gated area of a night. I had a motorcycle and felt it was safe if a night. Also had in-house menu if you did not feel like going out"

"Stayed in a campervan on a site near amenities. Amenities were clean and appeared new but only two amenity blocks for the whole park. Camp kitchen was great with a gas stove top a bonus. Pool was nice but basic for those with young children. Location was great as close to Nitmiluk and Top Didg Art Gallery. Being out of town where the park is located is unfortunately an important part of staying in Katherine."

"El hotel de centro de la ciudad fue muy fervoroso para nosotros. Reservó una cabina en línea que era más barato pero no me di cuenta de la toalla y la ducha era un pequeño bloque de 10 metros. "I’ve stayed here a few times now. I couldn’t find the email with the code for the lockbox and had to Google to find a contact number to call. From then on things were smooth. The rooms are large and well equipped. Linen is clean, the beds are comfortable and the aircon is nice and quiet. The rowdy locals are not the hotels fault but if they turn up in the carpark next door and. start their sh…t you won’t sleep. 2am -4am for me . There is a small but secure carpark and the entire complex is safe. It’s an easy walk to the Katherine Club or Woolies. I’ll stay here again next time."

"Be prepared to arrive and see multiple randoms wandering around the footpath and inside the carpark. For most part they’re harmless but keep your doors locked and yr eyes open. The gates are closed at 7.30pm which secures you and yr vehicle so don’t leave your car on the road for any reason at night. You can enter/exit with the remote they give you. The rooms are spotless and very adequate. Not cheap by normal standards but good value vs local prices. I like this place as I can walk to the Katherine club for dinner/drinks, although I have been advised against walking the streets at night. It’s really hard to describe this town unless you’ve been here, but as they say no gate is high enough. This hotel/motel is one of the nicer ones despite first impressions 👍"
