very nice room! Compared with their another hotel nearby, new one is cleaner and bigger, facilities are better. Downsides are the new one does not have the same Mountain View like the old one. Furthermore, the old one has better breakfast.

Uno de los mejores hoteles que hemos estado en Japón. La cena de bufete fue maravillosa.. escalop y neve ilimitada proporcionado por el hotel. Onsen es el topo especialmente la piscina exterior que mira el mar. Debe permanecer si alguien planea ir a Hakodate.

I absolutely love Hanabishi Hotel — I had the best 2-night stay here. The hotel is quiet with no large tour groups, and I really enjoyed the traditional feel and relaxing vibes. I tried all of their room types, and my favorite is the futon room with a private onsen. The futon is very comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful, even assisting me with arranging taxi service. The location is convenient, only about a 10-minute drive from Hakodate Airport. I also loved both the breakfast buffet and the dinner set — they truly pampered me like I was the queen of the world. The public onsen is beautiful and huge. I will forever choose to stay here whenever I’m in the area.

It’s just next to JR Hakodate station, bus terminus is just in front of the hotel and the city tram stop is within 5 mins walking distance. The morning fish market is just nearby across the road from JR Hakodate station. The buffet breakfast is good with a wide variety including frozen grapes, frozen berries etc. Also, the Hakodate Tourist Information Center is located within JR Hakodate Station. I made full use of my 2D 1N stay in Hakodate by purchasing the “Hakodate Special Ticket 2025”(はこだてスペシャルチケット2025) from the Tourist Information Center. The ticket includes ”Transportation Ticket” City Tram 1-Day Pass + ”12-Points Ticket” (1 point = ¥250) and covers admission fees to Goryokaku Tower, Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward and Mt. Hakodate Ropeway (two-way).

Stayed here last week during heavy snowfall, and choosing this ryokan turned out to be the perfect decision. Check-in was detailed and thoughtful. The butler, who I believe was named Junko, spent about 30 minutes explaining the room, amenities, and house rules, using picture cards and translation tools due to limited English, which made the process clear and smooth. The room was cosy with a beautiful ocean view. The furnishings are not modern, but that is part of the charm, as it feels like stepping back into the 80s or 90s while still being well maintained and fully functional. Heating was sufficient even in temperatures of -5 to -10 degrees. The room was clean, and the bedding was prepared during dinner and folded again at breakfast, which made us feel very well taken care of. We pre-ordered dinner and breakfast via Trip.com and requested a beef and crab set in advance, which was accommodated. The portions were very generous, and while the food may not be top-tier, it was better than many ryokans I have stayed at. There is a private onsen available free for the first use for 45 minutes, with additional charges for subsequent sessions. The onsen closes daily at 10am for cleaning. The ryokan is located in Yunokawa Onsen, about 30 minutes from town. I recommend dining in, as going out requires a walk and staying in allows you to fully enjoy the experience. Overall, a very pampering stay. Highly recommended for those looking for a five-star level ryokan experience.

Smooth check-in process. Staffs were very courteous and helpful. The Mt Hakodate observatory is only 10 minutes walking distance uphill to their tram station. We stroll along their morning market for breakfast which is just a few minutes away. It’s wonderful!

El hermoso viejo caballero que sirve como a la noche fue uno de los mejores empleados del escritorio que he conocido. Nuestro plan es llegar al hotel por la tarde, pero nuestro vuelo se canceló y tuvimos que buscar otras opciones, y se aplazaría la hora a las 23:00. Cuando llegamos, pensamos que nos ocuparíamos de las formalidades de ingreso por nosotros mismos. Pero cuando entramos por la nieve, vemos a este gentil caballero esperando por nosotros. El nos ofreció bebidas y helados gratis (y deliciosos) cuando queríamos comprar comida de media noche en la tienda de conveniencia, y nos ayudó a recalentar la comida. ¡Muchas gracias! お宿のスタッフの方々の対応か温かく、かつ節度があり、とても心地よく過ごさせて頂きました。 禁煙可能なお部屋が多い中、喫煙者である同伴者は大変喜んでおりました。 加えて、部屋に残るニオイの対応もしっかりとされており、心地よく過ごす事が出来ると思います。 肝心の温泉ですが、源泉のパワーを頂く事が出来る 大満足の温泉です！ 又、入りたいと思っております♪
