Rooms are a tad bit small but standard for japanese hotels. Location is very good, a few minutes walk from Beppu station and lots of eateries closeby. I love that this hotel had a rooftop pool with amazing view of beppu (although pool very shallow). We had a nice little soak in the hotel onsen however my partner stated the onsen was a bit dirty in the male section. We unfortunately didn't get to enjoy the free flow of alcohol for 1000 yen due to time constrain but would be good for alcohol lovers! Would definitely recommend and return! Nice, clean and friendly staff!

The location is excellent. It is 5 minutes away from the exit of Beppu Station. It is very convenient to take a bus to Hell Hot Spring. It is not far from the sea. You can stroll around leisurely. The hotel's buffet breakfast is very rich. There is also late-night noodle in the evening. The taste is very good. After soaking in the hot spring, there is free ice cream. Children like it very much.

Room - clean and large, very new.
Service - guest experience agent in concierge is awesome! I really appreciate the service Ami provided. The restaurant recommendations/ books have been very smooth. English communication is also great! Hassin sushi (八新壽司） is a must go omakase sushi place while typpenyaki place recommended also provided excellent quality wagyu beef. We also tried western style breakfast recommended (莊園小町） Super nice too!
Onsen - very new with splendid view. Just some business visitors from south east Asia who are not familiar with onsen rules were very noisy.
Food - breakfast is quite nice - suggest trying it outside.
Location - needs to driver around 10-20 mins to the restaurants in the city but overall all ok
Free valet parking is good.
Overall excellent experience!

The room was spacious and tastefully decorated in traditional Japanese style, blending modern comforts with authentic charm. The private onsen attached to my room was a highlight, allowing me to unwind in soothing hot springs while taking in the picturesque views.
What truly sets Kannawaen apart is the attention to detail and personalized service. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, making me feel truly cared for throughout my stay.

Seaview is pretty far from hotel room... Thus nothing much to see anyway.
As the Onsen is actually a bathtub attached to the inroom shower, the sulphur smell is very strong alike rotten eggs.
Stayed for one night and is a good experience.

This hotel is very convenient if you are taking bus from Hakata Bus Terminal. It stopped right in front of the hotel. Inside the hotel, it has tourist information counter where tourists can buy bus pass etc. Room and toilet are small and is common in Japan, but they are clean and stay is comfortable.They have 1 indoor and outdoor onsen. Opposite the hotel is a departmental store and is 10 mins walk to Beppu train station. Beppu tower is just a short distance walk from hotel. If you are taking a bus to Yifuin, bus stop 1 is just nearby, opposite direction of hotel. I will recommend this hotel if you are coming to Beppu.

La vista de la ventana es excelente, vista del océano. Cuando se baña en la primavera caliente, tiene la misma vista del mar grande. Sin embargo, el aire acondicionado no parece frío suficiente. Overall experience of staying at Seikaiso was very good. The location is close enough to the Beppu station(walking distance 10mins) and bus terminal is 2mins away. The best experience of this Ryokan is the hot springs and private bath on the rooftop. Breakfast is served per room on booking time with Japanese style breakfast. It was various dishes and delicious!
The front staff/restaurant staff/general staff are all friendly and helpful. Especially at the front desk staff Urabe was amazing. He also speak good English so it was very helpful. He helped us everything what we need. 🙏🏼
We will definitely go back to Seikaiso again.

Excelente ubicación: a unos 5 minutos a pie de la estación de Beppu. Hay muchos restaurantes y 2 Lawson cerca. Es muy fácil tener acceso a comida. La cafetería del vestíbulo también sirve buen café.
Exterior: Escuché que renovaron el hotel recientemente, por lo que el edificio, las habitaciones y el onsen se ven nuevos y clásicos.
Habitación: limpia, ordenada, un poco pequeña pero aceptable. Se agradece especialmente que haya un purificador de aire en la habitación sin solicitud previa o adicional.
Servicios: Lo que se te ocurra, lo tienen. Más que solo servicios básicos. Se agradece especialmente la máquina de hielo en el cuarto piso y el autoservicio de productos para la piel en el primer piso; tienen buen protector solar.
Recepción: No hablan mucho inglés, pero realmente hacen todo lo posible. Una hospitalidad maravillosa. Especialmente el personal mayor. Súper amable y acogedor.
En general, es más que una buena opción para un hotel económico. Si alguna vez paso por Beppu en el futuro, me encantaría quedarme de nuevo.

UUsuario invitadoFantastic service from super hotel. Location is very convenient around five minutes walk from Beppu station. Lobby is located on level two so you will need to take a lift. However the service is amazing. There are welcome drinks when you arrive. I believe there’s alcoholic drinks as well during a certain period as well between 6-9pm. You’re also able to select your Pillow according to its hardness or preferences and you can choose up to 5 amenity items these include facial mask, vitamin C serums to shavers etc. Because it is Beppu there is Also hot spring. however I would probably have liked to have it a bit bigger pool and to have an outdoor spa. All in all it was much value for money and I would go there again.

MMayEl host es muy útil, amable y amable. La primavera caliente es maravillosa cuando se puede disfrutar con vistas al río. El desayuno también es agradable. location: it's relatively further from the station , around a 8-10min walk. there is a 7-11 just around the corner
room: my room came without a bathroom but for the ladies are 3 cubicles shared among the 7 mix gendered guests on the floor. i did not have to wait in line at all. there was more than enough space in the room to open my suitcase wide and still feel comfortable. bed and pillow was a bit hard though, and you can hear anyone talking loudly downstairs outside the building as the room is on 2nd floor, tho that doesnt happen very often.
food: amazing balanced breakfast that changes everyday - really delicious!
onsen: the one on 2F was smaller than 1F, but very good and comfortable. clean too. you can book a private onsen room for 500yen (50mins)
staff: all of them were super friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. there are english-proficient staff available 24H as well :)

OOnyupaHotel facilities at big building is good. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to use the hot spring (main reason to choose this hotel) because there was drunk guest throw up inside men room and no one came to clean. Bed sheet has water stain on the outside so could be bothering for someone.
