Kerry Hotel Hong Kong by Shangri-la

The hotel room is fine. I was planning to book it for wedding day, but knowing the price of wedding purpose room is 3 times more expensive than the same room that not for wedding, it’s way too overpriced!!’ Especially we are not doing any deco or needed a parking whatsoever. Therefore, we booked the hotel next door which gave us opposite experience and it costed us 3000 more instead of 10K.

We just returned from a wonderful staycation, and we can’t thank you enough for the incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The accommodations were perfect—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. One of the highlights was the late check-out you provided. It gave us the chance to savor our last morning, enjoying breakfast in bed and taking our time to pack up. We loved being able to linger a little longer in such a lovely setting, making our getaway feel even more special. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. It was just what we needed to unwind and reconnect. We’re already planning our next visit! Thank you again for making our stay so memorable and for your thoughtful hospitality. We truly appreciate it!

The hotel and the room was nice but the wait for check in was way too long for a 5 star hotel. Waited for 50 minutes with long lines and only 2 working stations.

I stayed at the Kerry Hotel for New Year's celebration and I must say, I was extremely disappointed with their service. We had booked a room for three people, which was already more expensive than a room for two people in October 2023. However, when we arrived on December 30th, we were informed that they couldn't provide an additional bed, despite having called them in October to confirm that it would be provided. To make matters worse, they only informed us on December 30th that all the beds were sold out already in October, and we didn't receive the letter they claimed to have sent two days prior. The hotel did not cancel our booking nor did they bother to call us to inform us of the situation. Instead, they told us that the best they could do was provide a twin room, leaving three people to sleep in cramped conditions for two days. Adding to our disappointment, we had come to the hotel specifically to see the fireworks. However, during the nighttime, the outdoor areas that were accessible to hotel guests during the day were closed off except for Red Sugar bar which you should book in advance, forcing us to watch the fireworks through the windows of a small gym room packed with people. It would have been much appreciated if they had left these areas open for such a special occasion. I must say they didn’t promise to leave these areas open but I think we all understand why we come to this hotel with this amazing view on New Year. Considering the amount of money we paid for the hotel, as well as the additional fee for the third person, it was truly disheartening to not receive what was promised on New Year's Eve. The hotel manager assured us that breakfast would be provided for all three of us, but the next morning, we were initially told that our room was not eligible for breakfast. Why wouldn’t you inform about this the breakfast manager? Eventually, they allowed us in, and I must say, the breakfast was excellent. That was the only saving grace. The following morning, my boyfriend went to sit in the lobby to read his book, only to be told by the staff that he needed to order a drink in order to sit there. It's truly absurd to think that we paid such a price for a service like this. All in all, the experience at the Kerry Hotel left us feeling incredibly disappointed. We don't think we will be returning to this hotel in the future.

I was staying in room 1221 , I have a very comfy stay in your hotel. I want to give a huge compliment to your front desk duty Miss Josie Chu , she is very polite and have a very friendly smile , she assisted me on my check in and gave me a wonderful room as I was expecting with a beautiful sea view so I can relax , and it was so nice of her to gave me a late check out and it was perfect and she also assisted me on my check out. It was so wonderful to be assisted by the same person during check out.

We stayed at Kerry for 4 nights with a toddler and an infant (2.5 months old). The hotel staff are extremely attentive and considerate. We arrived in the early morning. Seeing that we travelled with 2 small kids from far, the reception staff gave us a temporary room to rest before our booked room was ready. In the temporary room, our elder son fell out of bed and knocked his face at the corner of the marble bed side table, the room service immediately sent staff with medical care and followed up all the time. They also prepared our booked room kids friendly. The breakfast was very nice with lots of options. When the staff saw me carried a baby and food, they always came immediately to help. The hotel location is perfect, with beautiful view facing the harbour and many shops / restaurants / public transport nearby, but not too as busy and crowded. The hotel room is very spacious and well maintained. The bed is very comfortable. We all enjoyed very much of he stay and would definitely go back again.
