"All I can say is wow! Stunning hotel with beautiful views. Amazing pool area and bar. Staff can not do enough for you . Lovely clean rooms . The staff are mainly family and are all so polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Super local tavernas and a beautiful beach front just 10 mins walk. If I could come back every year I would. Highly recommend if you like to just relax and chill and have a lovely quiet holiday in the sun x"

"This hotel and staff were amazing and you felt like part of the family whilst we were there rather than just guests. Anastasia and the team at the bar were brilliant. So friendly, caring and brilliant. Anastasia went that extra mile to help one of us when we had a problem with a swollen arm by providing ice and TLC. Absolutely amazing. The view from the hotel was incredible, the food in the restaurant, the mini bus to town and back was fantastic. Thank you everyone for making our first visit to Skala and Kefalonia a memorable one. "Wonderful apartments in an excellent location just off the main area and the little harbour, only a very short stroll to the beach where the majority of the tavernas and barsvare. We stayed for 2 weeks and couldn't fault a thing We stayed in a studio which had a small kitchen area with a hob/grill, kettle and coffee machine and a fridge with a small freezer compartment at the top. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery provided along with a sink We had 2 balconies, which all the rooms have, one is a private one looking onto the countryside and the other is at the front of the room where other guests come and go to their rooms There was a safe provided in the room, one big wardrobe with plenty of hangers and lots of storage space. The bathroom was typically greek with a shower curtain and the shower spray is fixed on the wall or you can just hold it, whatever your preference All the staff were amazing, everyone so friendly and helpful, special mention for the lady who maintained the room, she was so lovely and very thorough, she came in every day to empty bins, towels and bedding changed every few days, room was spotlessly clean We will definitely stay here again, it really was brilliant in every way"

"Una amiga y yo nos alojamos en el Hotel y Apartamentos Filoxenia en Poros desde el 14 de septiembre durante dos semanas. Nunca me había alojado en un lugar con anfitriones tan encantadores, pacientes y comprensivos: una pareja y su hijo, Dimitri. Lo digo porque, después de dos días, dejé la llave puesta en la cerradura de la habitación. Tuvieron que llamar a un cerrajero (un domingo) y lo arreglaron en pocas horas; ¡el cerrajero estaba a una hora de distancia! Me sentí fatal, pero fueron muy amables y considerados. Los apartamentos eran espaciosos, con una cama doble enorme y una cama individual pequeña. Cada una tenía un apartamento con vistas a la montaña. Estaba impecablemente limpio y todos los pequeños detalles (¡dulces!) y la cortina de la ducha, que por fin no inundó el baño como suele ser habitual, estaban muy bien pensados. Las toallas eran suaves y las cambiaban cada tres días. Había que subir y bajar la colina todos los días, lo que podría resultar un poco difícil para algunas personas, pero teníamos coche durante las dos semanas y no tuvimos ningún problema. Recomendaría sin dudarlo este encantador hotel/apartamentos a cualquiera que busque alojamiento en Poros, un lugar tranquilo, agradable y sin pretensiones. Gracias a todos los que hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera perfecta, aunque nosotros mismos no lo fuimos del todo."
