"Was over for 2 days as had appointment, nice rooms and comfortable bed and very clean , bus stop across the road at airport to go into town as nothing around the area apart from WH Smith in airport and the cove cafe and there only only when there’s passengers about which was very quiet when was there . "Popped in for a late lunch, and were greeted warmly by staff. Having perused the menu we opted for the lunch and a drink special and ordered the ploughman’s. when it was served to us it looked lovely but was somewhat odd. Instead of a chunk of bread and ploughman’s/branston pickle, it came with 2 slices of warm garlic bread and a pot of apple sauce with some chilli flakes sprinkled across the top. Tasteless ! Was crying out for some good old pickle /some tasty relish and crusty bread and butter. Definitely felt that they didn’t have all the ingredients for a traditional ploughman’s and compromised - disappointed"
