"We spent a week with family at the Hotel Conchiglia and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. Despite being a bit small, rooms are well appointed and impeccably clean. Breakfast is unusually high quality for Italian standards and Staff is consistently welcoming and attentive to clients’ needs. I would recommend an seafront room as the view is gorgeous. We will come back!"

"I recently stayed at this hotel in Cervia, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, especially considering the current phase of the AI revolution, where some industries are thriving. However, the hospitality sector at this establishment appears to be struggling, as evidenced by the unprofessionalism and lack of service exhibited by the staff. CONS: Check-in Experience: The check-in experience was entirely negative. The reception staff, numbering more than five individuals behind the desk, seemed to lack any hospitality background or even a basic attitude suited for the industry. My simple request for an iron and board was denied, with the staff deeming it the strangest request they had ever encountered. Their communication skills were lacking, and their facial expressions, including smiles, were conspicuously absent. Maintaining eye contact proved challenging, as their focus remained fixed on computer screens. Basic mannerisms, such as standing up from chairs while interacting with guests, were also noticeably absent. In-house Experience: Throughout my six-night stay, greeting guests seemed nonexistent in their dictionary. Housekeeping services were subpar, limited to changing towels and making the bed without addressing essential tasks like changing bed sheets, dusting tabletops, or thoroughly cleaning the floor and bathroom. The superficial cleaning left hygiene concerns unaddressed. PROS: Restaurant Experience: The only redeeming aspect of my stay was the restaurant experience. Mrs. Michela, in particular, exhibited a genuine passion for her job. Her professionalism and understanding of guest needs made the morning breakfast and dinner enjoyable. However, the buffet food was only mediocre. Check-out Experience: The check-out experience was positive, thanks to the professionalism of the night receptionist. Overall Impression: It appears that this hotel is managed by individuals lacking a hospitality background. The absence of an apparent management team suggests a lack of oversight and care for guest experiences. The hotel is, unfortunately, old, smelly, and damp, providing inadequate service for the money spent. Recommendation: I strongly advise potential guests to avoid this hotel in Cervia. Despite boasting a 4 star rating on paper, its performance merits a negative - 4 star rating. The facts of the Hotel do not match with the website photos. The facility's age, unpleasant odour, dampness, and subpar service render it an unwise investment with no value for money."

"Terrible service, inattentive staff, rudeness and lack of privacy as the staff entered the room without knocking early in the morning (at 8:30 the check out scheduled for 10:00) Breakfast was by 10:00, at 10:05 it was not served to us. To conclude despite the high price of the room it was totally lacking in soundproofing and it was impossible to rest properly. Experience to avoid!!"

"Great hotel for families, amazing food and staff. Full of activities for kids, toys and entertainment. Rooms are equipped with diaper bins, cots or changing tables if you need them, so that's very helpful when you come with a baby. Everyone is super helpful and friendly, we really enjoyed it and would love to come again. There's also a free parking at the hotel. The beach is close to the hotel and you can get sun beds and umbrella there."

"We stayed in Hotel Riviera for the IronMan 2024. This hotel is about 20/25 mins walk to the IronMan village so can be tricky with equipment on race day, but it is still very manageable, especially if not travelling alone (I had family with me). I don't often leave reviews but really felt the urge to call out just how great this hotel is. It has no pool but that's not an issue as it literally opens onto a quiet part of the beach. The breakfast is basic continental but very good, fresh & tasty. We got a suite with no balcony which meant the floor space was larger that other rooms so that was great for my equipment. The bed was very comfortable and fresh. The main advantages this hotel has are its incredibly warm and helpful staff and the hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. Every member of the staff literally cannot do enough for you, down to the point of providing us with an early breakfast on our check out day as we needed to hit the road at 6am. Nothing was an issue, we were made feel incredibly welcome from the minute we arrived. This hotel is located a short 15min walk from busy areas of Milano Marittima & Cervia, both busy hubs with bars and restaurants. I have stayed in other hotels with higher star ratings that would be no match to Hotel Riviera. I am planning on returning for IronMan 2025 and am already looking forward to staying here again.
