"El hotel Best Western La Conchiglia en Palinuro En el corazón de Palinuro, descubrí un rincón de paraíso, el hotel Best Western La Conchiglia. Nuestra estancia fue un viaje entre sueños y realidad, gracias a un equipo extraordinariamente amable. Un agradecimiento especial a Simone, la recepcionista, cuya profesionalidad y cortesía nos recibieron como viejos amigos. La terraza del desayuno es un lugar encantado, donde el aroma del café se mezcla con la brisa del mar, regalando momentos de pura poesía. Por la mañana disfrutamos de pasteles recién hechos, rodeados de una vista impresionante. Nuestra habitación, amplia y confortable, daba al mar, un auténtico rincón de serenidad. Allí, cada amanecer pintaba el cielo con tonos maravillosos, mientras el atardecer se transformaba en una obra de arte, con colores ardientes reflejándose en el mar. La terraza de nuestra habitación, amueblada con dos cómodas sillas y una pequeña mesa, ofrecía un rincón privilegiado para disfrutar de este espectáculo. Cada noche, nos dejamos envolver por la magia del momento, mientras el sol se hundía en el horizonte, proporcionando momentos de pura belleza y serenidad. El corto pero regenerador paseo hasta el mar era una invitación a la maravilla: los colores vibrantes y el aroma del jazmín llenaban el alma de belleza. Y el mar… ¡ah, el mar! Un abrazo azul que encanta y restaura el corazón. Con el deseo de volver y revivir esta magia, recomiendo a cualquiera elegir La Conchiglia porque no es solo un hotel, es una experiencia que encanta y regenera, un lugar donde el tiempo se detiene y la belleza se manifiesta en cada momento. "First the positives. Staff are terrific. Location by the sea is fabulous and sunsets are amazing. Food is really good. Not sure we had one bad meal there to be fair. Room was very nice. Massive bed. Big bathroom with excellent shower. Great outdoor terrace with seating and views out to sea. Now the negatives. We came in September. In my view that is still high season. But apparently not in theirs. Pizzas no longer available as the man who makes them has gone home. We had to eat dinner every night in a ridiculously overlit dining room which resembled a school refectory. Everyone looking at everyone else. Awful. Why could we not sit outside? It was certainly warm enough. We were given 2 vouchers for towels at check in. That means we had to keep our towels for 3 or 4 days before we could get clean ones. Why? This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. They should be providing clean towels every 5 minutes if that is what guests want. Sunbeds. We want to sit where we want to sit. Oh no. We have been allocated sunbeds and that is where we MUST sit every day. Despite the fact that there are 100beds and 20 guests. Breakfast was ok. But definitely skewed to Italian guests. I am not arguing or moaning about that but it is a fact. The sea is beautiful and lovely and warm at this time of year. Unfortunately getting into the sea at the hotel is very hard as there are so many rocks in the way. I cut myself on 3 occasions and my wife fell over and was lucky not to hurt herself. Again. I am not moaning about this but you should be aware of this if you are thinking of staying here. Lastly. This hotel is a good 30 minute walk from the heart of Palinuro. The hotel provides a Bus service which runs sporadically through the day. But believe me when I say that this bus takes you the bare minimum of the way to town. And not a metre further…"

"Top hotel in a great location! Bellissima struttura nel golfo di Palinuro, se viaggiate nel Cilento non mancate questo albergo, gestito con stile, intelligenza e sensibilità dalla signora Rosa e dal suo ineguagliabile staff! È facile trovarsi bene quando le camere sono ariose e dotate di tutti i comfort, i materassi di prima qualità, il ristorante non ne parliamo, (ancora rimpiango di non aver trafugato un paio di ricette), lo stabilimento sobrio e la spiaggia pulita. L'hotel La Torre ti accoglie e ti riporta nell'incanto di un'area naturale protetta, con discrezione, senza imporsi al paesaggio, e ti invita a restare. E poi a tornare. Grazie!!! "A very beautiful property with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Palinuro, located a 10-minute walk from both the town center and the Saline beach. The room was clean. The breakfast was good, with homemade desserts made by the very kind Mrs. Rosa, who was attentive and attentive to her guests' needs. I must say that all the staff were friendly. The owner was a little less empathetic, however. Upon our arrival, she greeted us without even saying "good evening," saying that the agency we used had, due to a simple mix-up, not paid our bill. The agency had already notified us, saying they would make every effort to send the balance as soon as possible. Furthermore, we had paid a deposit of €500 in March. I believe the owner was unprofessional, because she should have communicated directly with the agency and only if the agency hadn't paid by the end of our 10-day stay would she have informed us of the situation. Another lapse in style occurred when, while we were having breakfast, the lady told us, "You still have to pay the tourist tax." We paid it right away upon check-in... You should check first, right? I'd like to know who she booked us for. In conclusion, the property is worth it. The owner tries to be refined, but lacks savoir faire... because there are other nuances I didn't like, but I won't list them here... perhaps we're not part of the standard of guests she likes."

"Me, my boyfriend and my 4 year old son was at Villamirella for 10 days in July 2024. We had a great experience! Villamirella has the nicest and most helpful staff. Our son loved it, had an amazing time in the pool and enjoyed playing with other children aswell. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the nature and surroundings at Villamirella are stunning! The city is within walking distance and close to many beautiful beaches. There are plenty of stuff to do in the area, such as shopping, going to great restaurants, hiking, going on boatrides and much more. All together, we had an amazing time! All together a place we would recommend to everyone and a place we want to visit again."
