"The Maison Sumiane is an oasis of calm and loveliness! We stayed in the Chambre Mahaut for 5 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. The room is large and very comfortable. The pool is beautifully maintained and the perfect place to read, swim and enjoy a glass of rosé (or two!). The surrounding garden is beautiful with an area to try your hand at pétanque. The breakfasts are delicious. In addition to the freshly squeezed juice, bread and viennoiseries, we also enjoyed the cooked breakfast each morning for a small supplement. Guillaume is truly the perfect host; attentive, responsive and so helpful with ideas as to what to do in the region. Although the town of Brignoles itself is a tad run down, it has the bones of what was once a picturesque town. However, it is perfectly situated for day trips to places such as the Verdon Gorge, Cotignac and Bormes-les-Mimosas. There are a small number of restaurants available in Brignoles but booking ahead is a good idea. I highly recommend the Maison Sumiane and would absolutely rebook. Merci beaucoup, Guillaume !"

"Madame Victoire is one of the friendliest Hosts I have ever met. Her knowledge of her area was invaluable and she made us feel TOTALLY AT HOME. She served us breakfast on the veranda outside in the morning after our swim in her pool that has been in use for the past 150 years and fed by a natural spring nearby. No requests were ever too much for her. Highly recommend it for singles or couples who would like to immerse themselves in French History. Totally safe and and only a short drive to Brignoles a very old and charming town not far from Toulon "

"Caminado de nuestro hotel «Budget» junto a la puerta del restaurante aquí. Grande servicio, los hamburgueses habían precedido a una pastas y una cerveza. Un carafe de vino local ayudó las cosas junto y compartimos sorbetes al final. No se sentía como un restaurante hotel, excelente."

"Una agradable sorpresa, desesperados y cansados de un viaje largo a las 2 de la mañana encontramos este hotel por casualidad, donde nos acogieron con una sonrisa , pese a la hora que llegamos. La chica que nos atendió fue muy amable y se esforzó mucho para explicarnos todo. Habitación y baño reformado, con una original decoración industrial, muy limpio, tranquilo, y todo a un precio más que honesto, siendo la zona que es. Comodisima la ubicación a 1 minuto del peaje de la autopista.No pudimos disfrutar mucho del hotel porque nos levantamos tarde y volvimos a la carretera a terminar nuestro viaje. Volveremos de seguro porque es perfecto para reposar de un viaje entre España e Italia."

"I live on the Cote d'Azur, and stayed for a night at this beautiful, charming hotel/home, and it was perfect! It was raining, so I couldn't enjoy the garden, but the view from the room was dreamy. Before my visit, the owner, Guillaume, sent very useful messages with addresses for restaurants, and places to do in town and in the area. And he was very helpful answering additional questions from me on where to visit nearby, such as Cotignac and the Thoronet Abbey. I highly recommend this historic, carefully restored hotel/home hosted by Guillaume and his wife. I will definitely stay there again when I am in Provence."
