"Estuve en Bluesun Marina en agosto con mi esposa y mis dos hijos. En general, calificaría este hotel como un hotel de 3 estrellas, aunque creo que tiene 4. No hay nada especial en el hotel, excepto su ubicación, muy cerca de la playa. Las habitaciones son normales, la comida es normal, el estacionamiento está muy por debajo de la media, hay demasiada gente todo el tiempo, a menudo no hay una mesa libre en el restaurante, así que tengo que darle una calificación promedio. "Absolutely unforgettable! When you drive 9 hours from Zagreb to arrive at Bluesun Hotels & Resorts - Croatia destination based on false information twice provided by the hotel and to realize this is not what you booked and paid for, so you have to stop your completely ruined vacation and drive back home without having the opportunity even to properly swim. Really one-off memory preventing you from considering anything with Bluesun name ever again! We were looking for a location for a vacation with a pet, and after searching the Internet, we became interested in the Bluesun hotel Maestral in Brela. We were interested not only in the possibility of the dog staying in the hotel, but also in the possibility of him swimming in the sea with us. In the reservation center, we were told by phone that there are some beaches where dogs are allowed, but they don't know exactly how far they are from the hotel. Therefore, I called the hotel directly and received information that we can bathe with our dog anywhere, and based on this information, we made the reservation. Arriving at the hotel, I immediately repeated the same question during the check-in, noting that I wanted to avoid potential inconveniences. At that moment, there were 3 people in the hotel's official clothes at the reception and they repeated to me the claim that we can bathe with the dog anywhere. As we arrived at the hotel before dinner, due to traffic jams, we didn't go swimming until the next day and immediately experienced a series of inconveniences. While putting towels on the beach directly below the hotel, the sunbed renter (that's how he introduced himself) approached us and warned us that we shouldn't be here with the dog. Most of the people from the beach looked at us sideways, which made us extremely uncomfortable, and one lady, in an unpleasant tone, also drew our attention to the fact that there was a prominent prohibition sign. Indeed, there is a no-dogs sign on the beach, directly below our hotel. We went back to the reception and asked for clarification, but now there was another person behind the desk who confirmed that dogs are not allowed on the beach and that she was sorry we didn't know that. She suggested that we talk to the hotel manager next morning. The same evening, I called the reservation center again, where I was also told to call in the morning because there is no longer a responsible person available. Immediately in the morning, we had a meeting with the hotel manager, who apologized and, like the lady the previous evening, suggested possible beaches for swimming with a dog, but which are also not completely legal for that. The only definitely legal beach for a dog is Stomarica, which is too far away for it to make sense, especially for us, whose explicit selection criterion was proximity to the hotel. I must emphasize that the possibility of swimming together in the sea with our pet and the proximity of the beach to the hotel were the key criteria for choosing "

"Small family hotel with good comfort and in the best location... the hotel is on the car-free promenade... the reception by the two ladies at the front desk, Kathia and Daniela, was perfect... the two also see that the breakfast buffet is always perfectly set up ...The rooms are large and modern...Room service is provided during breakfast...Below the hotel there is a beautiful small bay...There are also sun loungers for the hotel guests...I can only recommend this hotel"

"I rented the entire complex for 4 nights for my group of 10 in June 2024. We had an amazing time. The building is only a few years old. There are 4 apartments. #1 is 2 bedroom, 2 bath. #2 is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. #3 is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. #4 is a studio with a bath. All units have A/C. Apartments 1-3 had full kitchens with all the needed items, plates, silverware, cups, pots and pans, etc. Only hand soap and dish soap were provided, so bring all the toiletries you need. Bath towels are provided, but beach towels are not. Mattresses are on the firm side. The pool is great! The house is situated pretty high on the hill, about a 15-minute uphill walk, so it's great to have the pool to dive into after the hike back up the hill. Easy to get to. Parking in the garage for 1 car; 2 cars can fit in the driveway. The major problem we had was the studio had a very strong smell of mildew. The agency we rented through was kind enough to refund our money for the studio because sleeping there was impossible. Otherwise, I highly recommend apartments 1-3 and I would stay there again."

"First - the hosts are amazing! They met us at the parking lot and helped us with all the luggage. We received lots of good tips and help. Ante drove us to a bigger supermarket, another day he helped us buy some meat we could not find in the small supermarket and brought it to us, he was absolutely incredible. I have never met a better host! The accommodation was super nice! Fresh, felt brand new and clean and nice. Super nice terrace that belonged to the apartment as well as a roof terrace with a lovely view. There are quite a few stairs but it was absolutely no major problem. I loved this part of Brela which was quiet and cozy, a walk of about 20-30 min took us into the center of Brela where there were much more people everywhere and crowded on the beaches. There are several super nice beaches to choose from right below the stairs and there was plenty of space and not at all crowded on these beaches. There are also a few restaurants, a small supermarket and my favorite Waikiki Beach Bar just around the corner. I can really recommend this accommodation and I will definitely come back!"
