«I enjoyed my short stay here. It was very conveniently located to the train station. However, it was hard to find foods so I had to order food online. The hotel is very clean, but my room did smell a little bit like smoke. So I had to keep the window open, but unfortunately the window screen was a bit broken so some mosquitoes came in. But once the smell was mostly out, it was a really pleasant stay. The bathroom was really clean and the bedding was spotless. Watching TV was also nice and I really enjoyed the breakfast. It was delicious. One of the best I've had actually!»

Location - near to the Guan Zhai Shan entrance. We took a DiDi taxi there which costs about Rmb12. The hotel is also near to the city which is less than 10 mins by DiDi taxi
Service - attentive and respectful services at the front desk
Hotel amenities - new and luxurious with a nice swimming pool and spacious lobby
Atmosphere- very relaxing, spacious and enjoyable feeling
Breakfast- last a good variety. Quality of food is generally ok
Restaurant - serves delicious Hakka food

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We were blessed to have chosen this hotel not only because our daughter bearing the same name as the hotel, it was also situated at a convenient location, walking distance to delicious breakfast, wholesale fruit market and major attractions.

MMonsterOnVacayPasar una noche en el Changdi Inn, enclavado en el corazón del histórico Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, fue una de las experiencias más inolvidables de mi viaje a Xiamen. From the moment we arrived, we were treated not as tourists, but as guests of the family. The hosts – the Father, Mother, and their Son – are the soul of this place. They are incredibly friendly and go so far above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special.
The Son was our main point of contact and coordinated everything for us with great patience. He arranged our visit to the magnificent 振成楼 (Zhencheng Lou, the ”Prince of Tulou”), with Mother sharing fascinating stories about its history that you won't find in guidebooks.
But where this family truly shines is in their genuine care. As overseas visitors, we were completely unfamiliar with local transportation and booking systems for our next destination. The Son sat down with us, helped us navigate the Chinese online systems, booked our train tickets, and gave us detailed instructions for the rest of our journey. He spent a significant amount of his own time to ensure we were set up for success, which was a gesture we will never forget.
The homestay itself is a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Decent simple home-cooked breakfast with the family was priceless.
In summary:

Nice to walk around and enjoyed watching people dancing in the open spaces. Local herbs are also available if u are interested in local Chinese herbs for brewing tea and herbal soups.
During the day it is nice to walk around early in the nearby walking streets where u can find interesting architecture of the olden days. Well kept but can do with more explanation about the history and info about the local culture and customs. Great place for taking instagram photos.
