"El hotel antiguo y hermoso ambiente, las instalaciones son antiguas y el servicio es excelente. El servidor de habitaciones Saman merece especial elogio. El personal de habitaciones de huéspedes usa todos los días diferentes modelos de animales en la cama, muy bonito y creativo. La playa de abajo es una playa pública, el sabor requiere dinero, pero no hay mucha gente. La arena está bien, las olas son grandes, son adecuadas para el surf. Hay entrenador de surf profesional, el precio no es caro. Los proyectos de juego suelen llevarse a cerca de tutu, como los deportes acuáticos, y los animales y bosques rojos de ambos lados del río merecen la pena alquilar barcos, pero el jardín de hierbas que se llevan es un lugar de compras y los interesados se invaden. El restaurante tiene buen gusto, es ligeramente caro en comparación con el precio de las bebidas alrededor, y el precio de Nova es más alto en la izquierda. El primer día se tira a un árbol blanco tutu, demasiado caro. En general, la experiencia es bastante buena en el hotel. La hija le gusta mucho la piscina inglesa de café, juega gratuitamente. Mejora: el aire acondicionado de la habitación hace que el suelo esté siempre con agua en el punto de corte, el suelo está muy liso y es peligroso. Me he cortado el dedo."

"This has perhaps got to be one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in since I started staying in hotels over 40 years ago! Check-in; After being told “we will try” for an early check in, then being told “1pm”, then finally “2pm” my two young kids and I were kept waiting at the reception after travelling all night on a flight and getting no sleep. The staff were ultra rude and kept throwing the rule book at us. When we asked to speak with the GM Sanoj, he stopped short of abusing me and was again rude and dismissive. They took 1.5 hours to clean the room despite Sanoj’s claim of 30-40 mins. Zero empathy and they kept rudely saying “wait till 2”. Noisy railway line; A railway line passes barely 50 metres away from the room. All night train sounds and unbearable vibrations ensure that you do not get a good night’s sleep at all. Food prices: Absolutely unreasonable and astronomical, which is almost criminal for a place that has no other options around! Water: We were given 2 0.5 litre bottles of water every day for a family of 3! When we asked for extra water, we were asked to pay! The first in any hotel! Only after fighting did we get our water. When leaving, a staff member actually snatched away a water bottle from us saying that they’re reusable glass bottles and we cannot take them away from the hotel! It probably cost just a few cents, but this is how they behaved with guests! The room: We had a duplex room. The side table in the loft was termite eaten and falling down literally. The cooling did not reach the loft, rendering that space hot and almost unusable. Flooring was worn out as was much of the woodwork. Random electrical switches all over the room made lighting impossible to find! And the room was so dim that we had to use torches to read inside! A dangerous staircase with the banister on the wrong side made for a treacherous journey to the loft. So much for a hotel designed by a supposed architect! Common facilities: Just 1 restaurant, an average pool and no other amenities would put this in the 2* category for me. Yet they behaved like it was a boutique 5* facility! Staff attitude: Rude, ****** and highly obnoxious. They seemed to be ***** who were told to run a facility and treated guests like jail inmates! My first ever experience of Sri Lanka was unfortunately shameful and disgusting and this property needs to be condemned in the strongest possible language. Club Villa is a disgrace to Sri Lankan hospitality and culture and I wish it nothing but the worst. Shame!"

"Asqueroso: esa es la única palabra para describir las habitaciones de este resort. Nunca había visto habitaciones tan sucias y tan mal mantenidas. Paredes húmedas con pintura descascarada, muebles de madera deteriorados, baños con olor a orina e incluso pelos de huéspedes anteriores pegados a las paredes y al suelo. Toda la habitación y el suelo estaban completamente húmedos. Fuimos con la esperanza de pasar los últimos tres días de nuestro viaje relajándonos, basándonos en las fotos y la ubicación, pero la realidad fue más que decepcionante. Los colchones eran duros, estaban doblados y eran extremadamente incómodos. De alguna manera, logramos pasar una noche, pero literalmente nos fuimos de este lugar a la mañana siguiente. Alojarnos en una habitación tan increíblemente antihigiénica arruinó por completo la experiencia. Nunca recomendaría este resort a nadie."

"WOW! This was the last hotel we stayed in during a tour of Sri Lanka. Like the other Taru Villas hotel in Maia, the staff were always polite and couldn't do enough to be helpful. The deputy manager was always coming up to us checking that everything was to our liking. I think we had the best room in the hotel! With only 9 rooms it was never going to feel crowded, which is the way we like it. Ask for smaller portions, or expect to put on weight! As this was part of a tour package, individual hotel prices were not identified, so I can't comment on value. I've included just one photo, which was the view as we arrived."

"After traveling through different parts of Sri Lanka for two weeks, we chose Rock Villa as the place to unwind, relax, sleep and eat healthy, before our 3-flight ride back to the California. It was the perfect Rx. First, the setting is tranquil, the birds are like a small orchestra, the staff is as polished as the dinnerware. The food is fresh, creative and scrumptious. We stayed four nights and thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the beach access, our comfortable/spacious room. The manager - sorry, I forget this name - checked in with us regularly and was attentive and helpful. We definitely will visit Rock Villa on our next trip to Sri Lanka."

"Mr Henry is a wonderful person. He makes u feel welcomed and home. We were given very special treatment during check in. We stayed in 2 bedroom villa. It was spacious, with exit options from both rooms - ensuring full comfort and privacy to the other person. 2 bathrooms were add on. We got very good srilankan breakfast. Mr Henry kept on checking on our well being and ensured that we are comfortable. He was kind enough to give us complimentary milk too when we requested in night, even when we requested to pay. We loved and enjoyed our stay."

"I went there for Ayurveda. Most of the guests were German, as the hotel was run by a German. They said it was their first time staying here from Japan, but they were very polite and friendly. The room was very spacious, and there was still plenty of room for two wooden decks on the veranda. You could see the ocean through the palm trees from the room, and the sound of the waves was soothing. The Ayurveda staff were very accommodating, even though our stay was short, and we were able to refresh ourselves. The food was delicious! We also enjoyed Ayurvedic food. There was a security guard on duty 24 hours a day checking the exit from the hotel to the beach. The beach was very beautiful, and we took a walk every morning and evening during our stay. The sunset was especially beautiful. It was the southwest monsoon season, but we were blessed with good weather and it was a great holiday."

It was truly the perfect place to escape from everyday life. The view of the river was simply enchanting and made the room a very special retreat. It has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere that we immediately felt at home. Everything was super clean and lovingly decorated. A delicious breakfast with freshly squeezed juice was served every morning. The proximity to the beach was another plus – simply wonderful! We truly enjoyed our stay and would return anytime. "We go with family, they gave us Villa and 3 rooms, not accomodated in the mail hotel building , this is infront of the mail hotel. Rooms had too many extra materials which makes room very conjested, like extra small bed, table etc. Rooms become very small with all this extra furniture. Many maquitos, Food very bad quality, nothing to eat for Vegeterian guys. We cancelled our booking for next day as it was niot possible to stay with un hygenic food."
