The Beijing Wild Vegetable Farm hotel is located on Xidui Main Street in Gubeikou Town< The Wild Vegetable Factory features wooden structures as its main architectural feature, with many ancient farming tools and antique calligraphy and paintings displayed in the courtyard, giving it a touch of ancient inn atmosphere. Every rockery, fish pond, lamp, and small ornament here perfectly complements the surrounding environment. The farmhouse has various room types, which are clean, bright, and well-equipped. Each room has its own exclusive name< In addition, self-service barbecue, bonfire fields and other entertainment facilities are also readily available. The restaurant can accommodate around 150 people at the same time. The hotel is located in a rural area and is perfect if you truly want to experience local lifestyle for a very good price. It is just over a kilometer away from the Wall and can easily be reached by foot. The Water Town is just over 8km away and can be reached by foot, taxi or bus. The staff were wonderful and very helpful! They blessed us with a huge breakfast in the morning.

I had a fantastic time staying here. I chose this location so that I could hike fron the Gubeikou section of the Great Wall to Jinshanling and it worked out very well.
The homestay provided a taxi service at a good price and amazing food - so delicious - for breakfast, dinner and also for packed lunches for hiking.
The staff were very friendly and the room comfortable.
Would recommend for anyone looking to hike from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and see a very quiet and beautiful part of the Wall.

I had an awesome time in this homestay. I think I was the only person staying there (due to low season), and I could have breakfast and dinner whenever I wanted. One morning I wanted to do a sunrise hike, very early, so they prepared me some snacks and fruits the prior evening, for free!
The family that runs this place is very kind. My Chinese is not the best, but I was able to have some chats with 奶奶 which I really enjoyed - good practice!
The room was nice and like the photos. Warm water and nice toilet. Only thing is that the room was quite warm, so I just slept under a sheet instead of blanket. Problem solved!
Id stay again. For me the location was perfect, as from here you can easily hike the wall, which is 2 min away by feet.

This hotel is only 5 minutes away from the entrance to the Great Wall. We did an 11km hike by walking along the wall in a north easterly direction, then looping round halfway through (find the loop on Maps.me). Barely anyone else on the wall!
Very comfortable beds and a nice breakfast for 20 yuan pp.

We had a great stay. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very kind and made delicious dinner and breakfast. They also provided transport to the great wall and to the railway station. We would love to come back again.
