Beautiful boutique hotel, teardrop staff are always so friendly and helpful and food absolutely delicious.Kilometres of empty beach (apart from some fishing boats) with no other hotels around - a completely different world to all the overcrowded places on the south and east coast.always love the happy hour with free drinks and delicious tea and cake."

"The rooms are gorgeous — very spacious and perfectly clean. The open bathroom is absolutely delightful! We stayed on a breakfast-only plan, and the breakfasts were delicious. The pool is large and very clean. The toiletries are high quality and beautifully scented. The room also has body sponges, toothbrushes, and body lotion — everything is thoughtfully provided. Everything around the hotel is very beautiful and well maintained. The beach is clean, and there are enough sunbeds for everyone. The ocean near the hotel is very calm and shallow, which makes it perfect and comfortable for swimming with small children. If you want waves and deeper water, there is a spot about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is about a 5-hour drive from Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, but the journey was absolutely worth it. There are monkeys, rabbits, squirrels, and many different birds living on the hotel grounds. Near the hotel, we also saw a Asian water monitor. ️ The hotel is truly amazing! Thank you to the entire staff who made our vacation unforgettable! ❤️❤️❤️ P.S If you are staying on a breakfast-only plan, be sure to go for seafood at “Nature Huts”. "This hotel has lagoon-front on two sides. A small side road leads to the hotel where it ends. Therefore there is no traffic, making it very quiet – which is nice for Batticola. If you get a room on the top floor you will have a nice view. There are tables/chairs in the garden along the lagoon to hang out with friends. They also seem to have conference facilities. We ate dinner at the restaurant which was very tasty. The rooms were spacious, well furnished and clean. Wifi, quiet AC and kettle to make tea/coffee are available. The bathroom was large with a separate shower (not a given in Sri Lanka). We stayed two nights and felt very comfortable."

"Recently visited this hotel , basically I booked the Passivilla however the GM has graciously transferred us to Marina beach hotel due to the sandy beach facilities . The room sizes were big and the toilets are vey clean .All the staffs are very friendly .we had some lovely time at the beach with beach sports . I have to give a huge thanks to GM Janaka for his warm welcoming and hospitality . Lovely pool and the view was stunning . The food was average may be its a off season . I'll definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay"
