"From April 19 to April 24, my son, Sybren, and I stayed at this fantastic resort. The service is fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. Both breakfast and dinner at the resort are very flavorful and made with local meat, vegetables, and fruit. The packed lunch we brought along during our jeep safaris and walking safari was also fantastically tasty. Our guide, Jal, is a local and has a lot of experience leading these safaris. He has extensive knowledge of the many animals, birds, and plants in Bardia National Park. The manager of Bardia Forest Resort, Miroj Joshi, helped us plan and organize our daily activities in a friendly and helpful manner. The jeep used for the jeep safaris is large and high and has comfortable seats to endure a full day of jeep safari. Our 6 days at Bardia Forest Resort were, in one word, 'Phenomenal'!"

"From the moment I arrived until the day I departed I was immersed in the Nepali culture both within the resort and out. My hosts filled me with wholesome, homegrown organic Nepali dishes 3 times a day. I was nourished by the stories of the family and the history of the country up to the current moment. My bungalow is generous in size. The garden landscape is well cared for and pretty. Pricing of my room, meals and excursions around the village and into the Bardia game park was very affordable. I have been here at the resort for 14 days and shall leave with many fond memories of the family and local community. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here."

"Overall, a very nice safari experience. Although I liked Chitwan as NP a bit more than Bardiya, I would still recommend you to also visit this NP. It's a total different safari experience compared to eg Africa but I would recommend it. Tiger Tops Karnali is excellent to do this. Not 1 complaint. All as should be and above. Loved the dunn-floored diningroom :) Dinner was great Breakfast was great Food during the activities was great I recommend you to take the river safari! Our naturalist was Chambu who did a great job but was for me a bit too tiger-focused. We indicated that we liked all things great and small but found ourselves stuck in his very tiger-focussed search for the stripy cat. And this kinda resulted in him ignoring other very nice things to see. And that was a bit a pity. For the record: we saw a tiger :)"

"Despite many requests to owners and senior staff to turn down the loud music the techno thumping noise kept going on and on and on...making the pleasant day miserable. Three owners were at the resort, even after two requests they did feel strongly enough to STOP the music at the Bardia National Park. This is a nationa treasure that should be preserved with the wellbeing of animals and community nearby but disappointed that the owners did not feel the same."

"my girlfriend and I had a really nice time at Madhu’s homestay. we came to experience the real wildlife and see some animals in their natural habitat. Therefore Bardia national park was the best choice! Madhu’s Resort is really a quiet, calm and green place to recover after our long mountain trek. The rooms are very clean, the bed is very comfortable and we had the opportunity to take a nice hot shower. we also did some yoga in his garden and just watched the sun goes down. the food was outstanding, with ingredients that grows in his garden. Madhu’s wife Anita is a very excellent cook. she always switched the dishes and asked us every day if we have special wishes. we did also some jungle walks and jeep safaris. Madhu and the Guide Ram are very experienced to find animals. Ram have perfect senses to detect noises and animal movements we never would recognize. he knows also very much about the animals and their behavior. overall we can 100% recommend this experience with Madhu, his nice family and Ram. We also want to come back in the future!"

"¡Nos encantaba el lugar! ¡Nuestro guía, Keshab, vino todo el camino al aeropuerto con el conductor para recogernos! ¡Tenemos suerte de tenerlo como guía privada durante los 6 días que nos quedamos allí. Él es el mejor guía que he tenido, y he tenido mucho! El hotel es muy agradable y la comida es increíble, lo mejor que tuvimos en todo Nepal! Todo el personal es amable, considerado, amable, profesional, y nos trataron tan bien. El piloto Manpati también era muy bueno. La vida salvaje era increíble! En 4 días completos safaris vimos 3 tigres, un leopardo, un rino, otters, crocodiles, aves y un gran rebaño de elefantes salvajes. El hotel tiene un vehículo más pequeño y un vehículo más grande para la elección que le corresponde. En nuestra noche pasada tuvimos cerveza, shisha, y una gran canción y baile de los pueblos locales."

"Great experience. Beautiful location. The owner snd staff were beyond gracious. They went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was good, there was a Nepalese dance festival they hosted while we were there. The proximity and location near the Park could not have been any more convenient. Our guide and driver were amazing, and super knowledgeable and did their best to give us the full Park experience. We were able to see the Bengal tiger, the Leopard, and the Rhino in our two days there. It is a perfect place for adults and kids alike. We saw both groups at the hotel"
