"El precioso hotel rosa se encuentra en el animado puerto de Ajaccio. El mercado diario también está justo afuera. Allí se vende todo tipo de productos: pan, queso, fruta, pescado, vino, cerveza, flores y joyas. Habíamos reservado una habitación básica en la parte trasera, pero nos cambiaron a una habitación superior con balcón en la parte delantera, para poder ver llegar los grandes cruceros y ferries. El aire acondicionado es estupendo cuando hace 35 grados afuera y hay silencio por la noche. No hay cafetera ni tetera en la habitación. El aparcamiento es limitado, así que hay que conducir un poco para encontrar un aparcamiento público fuera de la ciudad. Ajaccio es una ciudad animada con muchos restaurantes y terrazas. Hay un hermoso museo, el Palais Fesch, cerca."

The attractions introduced to us by the front desk on the second day were very unprofessional. If you are looking for good attractions, be sure to go to the visitor center in the city, which recommended the restaurant to see the sunset (les Sanguinaires) and several museums that are free on Sundays!"

El personal de recepción fue bastante amable y resolvió enseguida el problema que hubo a mi llegada con la tarjeta de la habitación, que no abría. Las instalaciones están bien, la ducha (italiana) era muy cómoda, el problema es que se moja fácilmente el suelo del baño. Sin embargo, el secador resultaba algo incómodo al tener que dejar pulsado el botón para que funcionara. La habitación estaba bien y la cama bastante cómoda. El desayuno no lo probé, no iba incluido y costaba un poco caro (15 euros). En definitiva, fue una estancia agradable."

Sadly, not the same good luck in the other restaurants on the island, so more than once decided to keep the dinner light to enjoy a late soupe treat upon returning to the hotel. And adding to this rare find are the wonderful views, facilities and the efficient service you get at the hotel, which is a great choice for that corner of the island."

"NOTE: WE STAYED IN HOTEL KALLISTE, WHIC I BELIEVE IS DIFFERENT THAN RESIDENCE KALLISTE, BUT THIS IS WHERE REVIEW REQUEST LINK BROUGHT ME - Very comfortable bed, small room but adequate and not unusual for European hotels, good bathroom, shower and towels. Very conveniently located, parking garage a plus. Very good breakfast each morning, many options including local chestnut cakes and honey. Bad smell at hotel entry near elevator should be eliminated. Leaving the door open as they do in the morning reduces smel, but does not eliminate the cause of the problem since it returns by the evening, when the door is closed."
