«¡Recomiendo muchísimo esta casa de huéspedes! El edificio es una reliquia de la época colonial británica, lo que le da un aire muy histórico. Las vistas desde la ventana son fantásticas, lo que hace que cada día sea agradable. El servicio también es excepcionalmente amable; la comunicación es fluida y el tiempo de respuesta es rápido, lo que hizo que mi estancia fuera muy tranquila. Si viajas, ¡sin duda deberías elegir casas de huéspedes gestionadas por chinos!»

«La casa de huéspedes estaba ubicada en una zona inesperada. El alojamiento era bastante cómodo y había seguridad afuera, así que me sentí seguro. Las únicas desventajas fueron el estacionamiento limitado y un olor ligeramente sofocante en el baño, probablemente debido a la humedad por estar cerca de la playa. En general, quedé bastante satisfecho; la habitación estaba limpia y luminosa.»

«Location was great and the villa itself was nice. However, despite asking multiple times, the host kept denying us a slightly early check-in (e.g. 30 minutes or 1 hour) before the advertised hour of 3 pm. Further, when we finally were given the codes to the place, they were wrong and we were stuck outside the house whilst awaiting for the maintenance team. Instructions were also unclear, which led to us not realising that there is a facility card to pool and gym nearby. Given that the villa is meant to accomodate a big family, the necessities were lacking as there were limited number of tablewares and the pots were only enough for 1-2 persons. Overall, it could have been a much better experience but the service and facilities are severely lacking.»

«We had a really enjoyable stay at Comfy Bungalow Family House NR Pg Hill & Kek Lok Si. The house is very spacious, especially the master room, which is huge and super comfortable. Overall, the rooms were good and the air conditioning worked well throughout our stay. The house layout is also convenient: the single room is on the first floor, while the other three rooms are on the second. The stairs are manageable, and there’s a toilet on the first floor plus two on the second floor (one in the master room and one shared), which made it very practical for a group stay. The bunk bed setup is quite unique, but guests may need to be a bit careful when sharing, especially at night, as there isn’t much space for the upper bunk occupant to step down easily. The place was clean and hygienic, with towels and basic amenities provided, and the check-in and check-out instructions were clear and straightforward to follow. The location is a big plus — it’s near the market with lots of great local food options within easy reach, which made the stay even more convenient and enjoyable. There are just a few small areas that could make the experience even better, such as having simple instructions for using the combined microwave and oven, providing hand soap in the toilets and switching off the timer for the dining room aircon. Overall, it’s a comfortable and value-for-money stay, especially for families or groups. We would definitely consider coming back again!»
