El desayuno se puede preparar con gofres, leche y yogur. nada mal. La habitación también es cómoda. Dos grandes, dos pequeños, una habitación, una cama grande, el otro es un sofá cama que debe desplegarse. Muy cerca del centro espacial. Hay comida rápida alrededor y el supermercado es muy conveniente. ¡nada mal!

Check-in was a breeze and Veronica at the front desk was very pleasant. Once in the room, because I cleaned up water spilt on the floor, I found the white toilet paper turned absolutely black AND with ***** hairs on it to boot. All this within 1sq ft. I called the lobby and asked how often the floors were mopped. I was told “every day.” I related what I had found to the contrary and was asked if I wished to change rooms to which I said “yes!”. When I went down to retrieve the new key, I took the wadded toilet paper with me and she took a picture of it before throwing it in the garbage! There were two very large, well lit, vending machines in a hallway off the main lobby, and the ice machine was in good working order and the ice, clean and solidly frozen.  I decided I was too tired to check and see if the new rooms’ floor was dirty or not so I proceeded to not ever walk on the floor with my bare feet. The day manager, Mari, was very nice and the coffee was hot fresh out of the thermos on the side table…hot water and tea bags also available. If you detest “sweet ‘n low” bring your own natural sugar. I ran into the head of housekeeping and happened to mention how disgustingly dirty the floors were in my first room, and I informed her that the night manager had taken a picture of what I had wiped up on my piece of toilet paper and she said she would go and ask to see it. I later learned that Mayra had indeed done so. So that was good attention to detail. Everything in the room worked fine including the remote and TV, the microwave was spotless and looked brand new and it even had a childproof lock on it for those families traveling with curious offspring that haven’t internalized the meaning of “NO” yet 😵💫. The refrigerator was spotless and new looking as well. WiFi was strong and reliable. I walked by the pool, which I noticed was closed (understandable for this time of year!). It was full of water, but I must say that it looked the equivalent of a Louisiana swamp and I was prepared to see a ‘gator come climbing up those darkened, slimy stairs at any point in time.😆 The parking lot at night is VERY well lit around the entire property which is a very welcome sight! Being right off the interstate doesn’t provide for any exciting venues to walk to but there IS a wonderful grocery store (HEB) .7miles away straight down Rundeburg on Lamar/Rundeburg. Other than that there are a plethora of food trucks doling out South American ‘cuisine’ just yards from the front of the hotel as well as across the street. I didn’t try any of them so cannot opine. I hope this was worth the read, if indeed you got this far! Cheers!🥂

This is the first time I have a bad experience, I forgot an ítem (very small by the way) in my room, so I called the front desk requesting for it, they told me that housekeeping had it, but they can only keep it for a week, and then they send it to goodwill, I find this rule very unflexible, at least they have to keep it for a month at least, they didn't care Im a very regular client, sometimes I checked in twice a month.

Very functional hotel with basic breakfast and a nice quiet park nearby, 20 minutes from Downtown Austin. I stayed in both a basic room with a queen bed, and a suite (they turned out to be identical), around the Texas Eclipse in April 2024. Pros: * Even the most basic room is very functional: desk and ergonomic chair for computer work, mini-fridge, microwave, couch, comfortable bed * Basic breakfast until 9am: microwaveable burritos and biscuits, hard boiled eggs, milk and cereal, apples, oranges, coffee, juice * Very helpful staff (held onto my luggage, received packages, printed labels, extended my reservation several times) * Nice quiet park to walk or jog in, 3 minutes away by foot (the MetCenter Hike & Bike trail). Hardly anybody there every time I went. * Small fitness room with 3 cardio machines * $8 shuttle service to the airport, plus free pickup from the airport * The elevator now works Cons: * The WiFi was extremely fast in the lobby, but on the 3rd floor - unstable, and would disconnect briefly several times per hour. Like most other hotels, WiFi also kicks you out 2+ times a day, and you have to login (with the same password). I don't really get the point of this, and if the logout happens during a video call, you're screwed until you reconnect 💥, OR if you're on your phone, it goes on data and chews up bandwidth to handle the video. Microtel, please stop this dumb practice. * The TV's WiFi worked only on day one (so other devices could connect and cast to it), and never since then. * The area doesn't have anything interesting within a 5-minute walk, but is a ~15-minute Uber ride to downtown Austin. Ubers take ~5 minutes to arrive. So consider 20 minutes to get to Downtown. * Walls aren't the thickest so I could hear the neighbors bumping things into them, but overall both rooms were quiet. * The mattress was a tiny bit squeaky * Breakfast ends at 9am. Other places have breakfast until 10am. * The suite may be slightly bigger but I didn't see ANY advantage vs. the basic room. Really not worth the price difference. Exactly the same layout and furniture. Not sure why they charge more for it.

¡Tu personal es genial! El recepcionista fue amable, hospitalario y servicial. La habitación estaba limpia y el resto del hotel también. No pudimos ir al área de la piscina o no pudimos desayunar debido a esta época tan fea, el Coronavirus, pero aparte de eso, diría que este es un gran hotel. ¡Gracias!

La habitación estaba muy limpia, aunque tenía un fuerte olor de bledo. Muchos contratistas y sus familias se quedan en el hotel y hablan fuera de nuestra puerta hasta tarde y temprano a las mañanas.

En cuanto a la habitación, el hotel era un hotel no fumador, pero juro que alguien había fumado en la habitación antes. El aroma no era demasiado malo, pero podía decirlo. Fue tolerable pero desafortunado. Puede confiar en los visitantes para seguir las reglas, pero no todo puede controlarse. Cuando llegamos primero, estabamos en una habitación de segundo piso. He pedido una habitación de piso porque tanto mi amigo como yo son veteranos discapacitados. No hay problema, nos dio una habitación de piso. Cuando entró al principio, estaba muy caliente allí. En un intento de refrigerar la habitación, descubrí que los controles en el aire acondicionado giraron todo el camino, dejando que no sabía realmente dónde en el dial se corollaba con el ajuste de refrigeración. Lo único que me irritó fue el hecho de que la casa se golpeó en la puerta antes de 1100. Ya llevamos nuestros bienes al camión y cuando intentamos volver a la habitación para obtener el resto de nuestros bienes, la llave de la tarjeta ya no funcionó! Me llevé a caminar de un extremo del motel al otro extremo para volver a la oficina; tuvieron que reajustar la llave que supongo. La primera vez que me quedaba en el hotel, me pareció que no era necesario que la llave siguiera siendo eficaz en el desbloqueo de la puerta.
